The Michigan Wolverines fired head coach Sherrone Moore with cause on Wednesday, December 10th. Biff Poggi will step in as the head coach in the interim, and he will be leading the team in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl against the Texas Longhorns.

Minter Won't Be Back

For this market, I am not actually sure where Michigan is going to look. However, I am fairly certain that anyone under the Harbaugh regime will not voluntarily go back to Michigan after the sanctions have been put in place from their scouting scandal. Minter also seems to have it pretty nice out there in sunny LA, so I am not sure he will be quick to go back to Michigan, even if he were to get a promotion.
