FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES vs. LOUISVILLE CARDINALS BETTING PREDICTION

The Seminoles opened the series with a 47-7 victory over Duquesne of the FCS in Week 0 back on Aug. 27. That's all well and good, but the real question about whether FSU's Mike Norvell had this team turning a corner would be if the Seminoles could handle themselves against LSU, in New Orleans. The Seminoles posted the 24-23 victory as 4-point underdogs, winning by way of a blocked extra point in the closing seconds. It was a miraculous win, and the kind of victory which can change the trajectory of a program.

Florida State has been off since Sept. 4, so it enters this game rested, too. The Seminoles won and covered as the underdog against LSU, the only FBS foe it has faced so far. The UNDER has cashed in each of its games.

Louisville already has a conference under its belt, and it didn't end well. The Cardinals were destroyed by Dino Babers' Orange team in Syracuse, falling 31-7, losing outright as a 5.5-point favorite. The Cardinals were on the flip side as a 5.5-point underdog at UCF last Friday night, but Louisville turned the tables and picked up a 20-14 win. The UNDER has cashed in each of its games, like FSU.

Louisville registered 226 yards on the ground against the Knights, and they protected the ball better after going minus-3 in turnovers at Syracuse.

Louisville has struggled against winning teams, going 12-28-1 ATS in the past 41 games against winning teams. The UNDER is 6-1 in the past seven games in the month of September, while going 5-2 in the past seven ACC battles, including the Syracuse game.
