The Syracuse Orange and Clemson Tigers hook up in a battle of ranked and unbeaten teams for an ACC showdown Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET, and the game can be viewed on ABC.
SYRACUSE ORANGE vs. CLEMSON TIGERS BETTING PREDICTION
It's been six up and six down for the Orange of Syracuse, as head coach Dino Babers has finally brought this team back to respectability, and then some. Syracuse picked up a 24-9 win over NC State last week in a high-profile game and battle of top-25 teams, although the Orange did have the benefit of not having to face QB Devin Leary. Now, we'll get a very good idea of just what to expect from 'Cuse.
The Tigers of Clemson fought to a 34-28 win at Florida State, cashing the OVER for the fourth time in five games while cashing against the number for the third consecutive outing. In four games on the road or at a neutral site, the Tigers are 3-1 ATS, while splitting the OVER-UNDER 2-2.
Clemson leads the all-time series 8-2, including victories in each of the past four meetings. Clemson received quite the scare last season at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, 17-14, and three of the previous five meetings have been one-score games. Syracuse picked up the 27-24 win on Oct. 13, 2017 in a Friday night game, stunning then-No. 2 Clemson at home, so the Orange have been a real thorn in the side of head coach Dabo Swinney's bunch for a while now.
Score Prediction: Clemson 29, Syracuse 26
Best Bet: Syracuse +13.5 (-108)
Best Bet: Over 49 (-114)

SYRACUSE ORANGE BETTING ANALYSIS
The Orange have ridden a so-so offensive attack with a tremendous defense to roll to six consecutive victories to open the season. This will be their first test on the road, and the Tigers easily represent the most difficult opponent of the season.

CLEMSON TIGERS BETTING ANALYSIS
After a down year by its standards, Clemson is back, competing for a national title. Clemson is 7-0 SU, with quality wins on the road over Wake Forest and Florida State, while topping NC State at home. The Tigers have covered in each of the past three outings after going 1-3 ATS in the first four contests.
Clemson has scored 30 or more points in all seven wins, and that will be put to the test against a good Syracuse defense. The Tigers have a balanced attack, posting 247.4 passing yards per game (63rd) and 170.0 rushing yards per game (54th), while posting 38.6 PPG to check in 21st in the country. RB Will Shipley has rushed for 567 yards and eight touchdowns.
Defensively, the Tigers have locked it down against the run, allowing 86.4 yards per game to check in 6th, while allowing 341.7 total yards per game to rank 32nd overall. Clemson is yielding 19.7 PPG to rank 26th in the country, too.
