The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a brief two-game slide in Friday's 122-95 blowout of the Rockets, while also picking up their first cover in six games.

The Wolves remain in Texas tonight against the Dallas Mavericks, who are coming off a pair of home routs of Portland to improve to 6-2 ATS in their last eight games.

Minnesota has captured each of the first two meetings with Dallas this season, capped off by a 118-110 win at Target Center as 12-point favorites. The Mavs didn't have their two stars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving in the lineup that night, as Doncic is questionable this evening.

Dallas owns a 1-3 SU/ATS mark in the role of a home underdog this season, while Minnesota is riding a 6-1 SU/ATS run as a road favorite in the last seven opportunities.

The battle of Los Angeles between the Clippers and Lakers has been one-sided through the years. The Clippers won 11 straight over the Lakers from December 2020 through April 2023.

However, the Lakers finally broke through against the area rivals in the first matchup this season by rallying for a 130-125 overtime victory on November 1 to end the skid.

The Lakers are in the midst of another slide right now, dropping four in a row after falling to Memphis at home on Friday to slip to 17-19 on the season.

The Clippers remain atop the Pacific Division at 22-12 after winning their fifth straight game on Friday, 111-95 at New Orleans. The Clips have taken care of business recently in the favorite role by going 10-2 ATS and 12-0 SU in their last 12 games when laying points.
