Giannis tabbed All-Star Game MVP Favorite

The 2020 NBA All-Star Game takes place at the United Center from Chicago, Illinois on Sunday night and one of the most popular wagers is focused on the Most Valuable Player of the game.

This year’s matchup will feature Team LeBron vs. Team Giannis and the oddsmakers at FanDuel believe both captains will be in the hunt for the hardware.

Reigning NBA regular season MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and likely repeat winner this season has been listed as the 7/2 betting favorite to win the exhibition. LeBron James is right behind him at 4/1 odds and he’ll be looking to win his fourth All-Star Game MVP in his career.

Anthony Davis, LeBron’s teammate on the Los Angeles Lakers and this year’s All-Star Game as well has been installed as a 5/1 betting choice. Davis captured the MVP in the 2017 All-Star Game from New Orleans when he was a player on the Pelicans.

Many pundits and bettors are buying the “hometown narrative” again this weekend since Davis is a product of Chicago.

Other active players that have captured the All-Star Game MVP in action this Sunday include Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook. Both veteran guards are on Team LeBron with James and Davis, so the oddsmakers have made the numbers on Westbrook (14/1) and Paul (100/1) a tad longer.
