I really like the total in this basketball game and I think it will play Under the posted 209.5 points. I am leaning towards the Nuggets here vs a very depleted Philly team that has dropped five straight and no chance of Joel Embiid playing now since he is still symptomatic with Covid-19. The Nuggets are the number one defensive team in the NBA allowing Under 100 per contest. The Nuggets are averaging just over 103 per and missing a couple key players as well. The Nuggets have seen the Under cash in 10 of 14 games and cashed in seven of their last eight as a favorite. Looking for a low scoring game here.

Life without Embiid is tough, but the Sixers have been able to stay afloat. Andre Drummond has been securing rebounds very well in the absence of Embiid, but doesn't come close in terms of offensive production to the big man from Kansas. The Sixers will be without Danny Green and Matisse Thybulle, so expect Seth Curry to aggressively score in this one.

The Sixers were just blown out by a good Utah team in Salt Lake City, so not much stock is put into that contest. However, the Sixers have now lost five in a row (all to playoff quality teams) and now play in another tough environment against a team that plays better at home. Expect a sixth straight loss for Philly here along with a failed cover at +8-points.

Denver's winning streak ended in Dallas with a 10-point defeat, but now return home where they are much more comfortable playing at. The Nuggets won five straight home games before dropping a road meeting against Dallas. Denver also lost to Memphis on the road prior to the five-game home stand.

If you fancy the Nuggets here, then that's a perfectly fine bet as well - as the Nuggets should win this meeting. Tyrese Maxey has emerged as a starting-caliber point guard, and can actually shoot the ball. Tobias Harris will be leaned upon heavily in this game, so expect the Nuggets to focus on those two players, while Nikola Jokic handles Drummond down low.

Michael Porter, Jr. has been struggling this season, and is inactive for the game. Will Barton is also listed as DTD, so if both can't play then that merits the Under selection even more.
