NBA Prop Bets For Monday, March 14

Prop betting expert Stuart Durst gives his top prop bets to consider for NBA action on Monday, March 14. Check out his top plays for today's hardwood action below.

  • Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN) Over 35.5 PTS + REB -108 at FanDuel
  • Kristaps Porzingis (WAS) Over PTS -110 at BetMGM
  • Kristaps Porzingis & P.J. Washington (WAS) 3+ Made Three-Pointers +952 at FanDuel

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 35.5 Points + Rebounds (-108)

Matchup: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. San Antonio Spurs (NBA League Pass, 8:30 p.m. ET)

Towns has a great history against the Spurs, who are now one of the best matchups in basketball for Player Props. KAT has played the Spurs once this season, going 25-12-5, in an impressive performance. While Jakob Poeltl is a very solid rim protector, he doesn't have the defensive versatility to follow Towns beyond the arc, and will likely be strong to contain his midrange game. With a total set at 240, we are getting two high octane offenses colliding head-to-head. I'm expecting a fast pace of play, and both offenses to show out tonight, making this a great option for Player Props. He's played the Spurs 5 times since 2019, hitting this number in 4 of 5 games, a great spot for the big man tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis Over 17.5 Points (-110)

Matchup: Washington Wizards vs. Golden State Warriors (NBA League Pass, 10:00 p.m. ET)

I really like Porzingis' role in this Washington team. While he only has played in three games, he's scored 19, 25, and 14 points in those games. His minutes are still being restricted, but after missing a back-to-back on Saturday for rest, I expect him to play the most minutes he has all season. This new look Wizards offense is set up to generate easy buckets for Porzingis at the rim, get him opportunities at the foul line, and let him shoot some 3’s along the way. The Warriors will have Draymond back for 20-23 minutes tonight, but with Porzingis standing at 7’3, there is nobody in his height range. A creative way I'm playing this is Porzingis 15+ Points parlayed with Towns 20+ Points and -114 on Fanduel.

Kristaps Porzingis & P.J. Washington 3+ Made Three-Pointers (+952)

Matchup: Washington Wizards vs. Golden State Warriors (NBA League Pass, 10:00 p.m. ET)

With Draymond playing, the Warriors are one of the best teams at mitigating points in the paint, which should encourage more outside shots. If there is one thing we know about Porzingis it's that he doesn't love doing the dirty work down in the paint. It's likely that they will allow those outside shots, at the expense of the Wizards running their interior offense through Porzingis. Washington has also been very consistent recently, hitting this number in 4 of 8 games since returning from the All-Star Break. Last time he played OKC, he successfully went 6-10 from beyond the arc in only 27 minutes. Hes now seen a huge increase in minutes playing both the four and five, and OKC is one of the worst three point defenses in basketball.
