Herb Jones (NOR) Over 0.5 3PM/Steals

Herbert Jones made his presence felt in the first game of the series, and I’m surprised we’re still getting good value here. After playing 37 minutes in his first ever postseason game, it's clear his defensive presence is gonna keep him on the field just as much as CJ McCollum or Brandon Ingram. Against the Spurs he went 2-4 from three, grabbing two steals and two blocks in an impressive performance. Considering he's averaging 1.8 steals per game this year, I’m expecting another multi steal game. When playing 35+ minutes this season, he has 1+ 3PM in 16 of 19 games and should be in store for plenty of volume.

Herb Jones (NOR) Over 14.5 Points

Also played 2+ 3PM at +280. Anyone that has read this article all year long knows I love volume and opportunity more than anything. Herb scored 12 points, going 2-4, from beyond the arc in his first playoff game, and considering everything he contributes to this team on the defensive side of the ball, I’m expecting a similar output against the Clippers. Looking back at his last three regular season games against LAC, he has scored 16, 14, and 13 points playing in the low thirties in all those matchups. Defense creates opportunities on the other side of the ball, and we can expect all the attention in the world on CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram.

De'Andre Hunter (ATL) Over 4.5 1Q Points/Hawks ML

I played this confidently last game at +140, and I’ll definitely take the odds here today. While Hunter failed to convert this number against the Hornets, He went 1-4 from the field and was a missed free throw away from cashing this number. Hunter will likely continue to see around 10+ first quarter minutes, and if he continues to get this kind of volume then we're getting a great price. As for the Hawks, I still think they are the better team here. Trae Young is the best player in this game and despite Jarrett Allen playing with an injured finger, its gonna be really hard to contain this Hawks team thats peaking at the right time.
