Prop betting expert Stuart Durst gives his top prop bets to consider for NBA Playoffs action on Friday, May 20. Check out his top play for the hardwood action below.
One of the main reasons I like this play is because Curry has the potential to hit this number with a spike performance in either category. In game 1, he recorded 16 RA (12 rebounds) despite only playing around 31 of the 40 minutes he was likely to see without a blowout. Curry played the Mavericks 4 times during the regular season, and averaged over 14 rebounds + assists, hitting this number in every game. In those games, he has 9+ rebounds in 2, and 9+ assists in 2, showing that he has the versatility to be very active in both categories. Wiggins is someone who has been very active on the boards during the playoffs, but being out on the perimeter guarding Luka is opening up more opportunities for others. Looney is another example of a guy knowing his role, which helps this prop. Centers across the league try to fill the stat sheets as much as possible, but in reality, letting the guard grab the rebounds over the center is very advantageous to an efficient transition offense. Warriors have talked up the importance of holding the rebound advantage and Curry is clearly leading by example. I understand this is gonna be a slower game, with a lot of defense, but I still think the number is too low. Curry is 5/5 on this number against the Mavericks and averaged 11.5 during the regular season, I think he gets the job done tonight.
