Andrew Wiggins has absolutely been a different beast this postseason/series. If you just checked his box-score and saw that he averaged 17 points per game in the regular season, that wouldn’t make these playoff performances surprising. Wiggins has been criticized a lot over the course of his career for his lack of assertiveness, and it looks like he really took that to heart so far. Wiggins not only has been extremely aggressive hunting mismatches, he also is crashing the offensive boards grabbing those putbacks.
Wiggins is over this number in 3/3 games this series, averaging 20.7 points. While he spend most of the playoffs around 12-14 FGA per game, he’s averaging 17. Second on the team in drives, I expect him to continue to attack Luka Doncic. Doncic has been incredibly effective grabbing the steals, he has 1+ in 3/3 games this series and 11/13 playoff games. Averaged over 1 per game on the regular season, should continue to get this number without a blowout.
