The Chargers finally got over the hump with their first win of the season last week, and now, the Week 4 betting odds see the Bolts favored by a touchdown over the Raiders. Coverage begins from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday, October 1 at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.

Las Vegas Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers Odds

• Opening point spread: Chargers -4
• Opening moneyline: Chargers -220/Raiders +180
• Opening total: Over/Under 49.5 points scored
• Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: TwinSpires Sportsbook opened the Chargers -6 and sits at L.A. -6.5 with 90 minutes until kickoff. Spread tickets are running 2/1 and spread money 3/1 on Los Angeles, facing a Las Vegas squad without starting QB Jimmy Garoppolo (concussion).

"It's a mix of sharp and public play on the Chargers. Las Vegas will be needed," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total is up a tick from 47.5 to 48, with tickets 2/1 and money 2.5/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Chargers advanced from -4.5 to -5.5 Monday at BetMGM, and they've been at -5.5 (-105) since Thursday afternoon. Tickets and money are in the 3/1 range on Los Angeles.

BetMGM's total opened at 50.5, bottomed out at 47.5 Monday afternoon and went to 48.5 Wednesday afternoon. The Over is netting 59% of early tickets, while 60% of early money is on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Los Angeles finally found its way into the win column in Week 3. The Chargers (1-2 SU and ATS) held off Minnesota 28-24 as 1-point road 'dogs.

Las Vegas (1-2 SU and ATS) was a sharp darling much of the past week, opening +1.5 and closing -3 vs. Pittsburgh. But the Raiders fell 23-18 in their home opener.

Said Michaelson prior to Sunday night's Steelers-Raiders tilt:

"Things will change after the Raiders play. But the Chargers looked basically like the same team that lost the first two games – except the breaks went their way this time. We took a bet to move us up on the total. The Chargers attract lots of Over bets."

Raiders vs Chargers Pick, Prediction

Action Network NFL betting expert Brandon Anderson offers this prediction:

The Chargers offense is the one standout unit on the field, top quarter of the league in both Rushing and Passing DVOA. It sure would be nice if we could ever keep all these weapons healthy, though.

Allen is coming off his career-best game, a monster 18-catch, 215-yard effort that included a 49-yard TD pass. He leads the league in receptions with 32, a 181-catch pace, and I put in a bet on him at +12500 to win OPOY. The Chargers have little choice but to feed Allen at this point with the injuries, and there's no reason to believe the Raiders will be the team to stop him.
