2026 NFL Odds for Preseason Week 3

New York Giants vs. New York Jets Odds

  • Opening point spread: Giants -3
  • Opening moneyline: Giants -155/Jets +130
  • Opening total: Over/Under 36.5 points scored
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Friday (TV TBD)

LATEST UPDATE: As kickoff nears, the Giants are 2.5-point favorites at BetMGM. That's down a tick from Monday's opener of Giants -3, and the G-Men spent time earlier today at -3.5.

That said, BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis noted that action is so light that any decision is negligible.

"There's not much to say about any game," Davis said.

BetMGM's total is at 36.5, down from a 37.5 opener.

SECOND UPDATE: In this Big Apple battle, the Giants are -3 (-118) at BetMGM as of 11:30 a.m. ET Friday, eight hours pre-kick. The G-Men opened -2.5 (-115), but have been at some iteration of -3 ostensibly all week.

Early spread play leans toward Big Blue, at 60% of bets/64% of money.

BetMGM's total is at 37, moving up from 36.5 this morning, but still down from the 37.5 opener. The Under is taking 57% of early bets and practically all the early money.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: The Jets (1-1 SU and ATS) gave starting QB Geno Smith just one possession in Preseason Week 2, and he made it pay. Smith was 7-of-7 for 65 yards on a 10-play, 69-yard touchdown drive, and New York beat Pittsburgh 17-0 as 1.5-point road favorites Friday.

In preseason Week 1, Jaxson Dart played two series for the Giants (1-1 SU and ATS), in a 13-10 loss as 1.5-point 'dogs at Minnesota. Dart sat in preseason Week 2 vs. Miami, with Jameis Winston leading the G-Men to a 20-0 halftime lead in a 26-3 victory giving 3.5 points Saturday.

New Giants coach John Harbaugh indicated a few starters might see action Friday night. Big Blue opened -3 (-105) at BetMGM on Monday morning.

"The preseason battle of the Meadowlands hasn’t had much interest from bettors yet. A few have taken the 'dog here early, but nothing of substance," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The only movement has been in the total, moving from 36.5 at opening to now 37.5."

Seattle Seahawks vs. Kansas City Chiefs Odds

  • Opening point spread: Chiefs -1.5
  • Opening moneyline: Chiefs -120/Seahawks even
  • Opening total: Over/Under 36.5 points scored
  • Time: 8 p.m. ET Friday (ESPN)

LATEST UPDATE: At 7:30 p.m. ET, 30 minutes before kickoff, BetMGM just flipped this number from Chiefs -1 to Seahawks -1. Kansas City opened -1.5 and was as high as -2.5 Thursday afternoon.

But there's not much of a decision on this game, just the same.

"There's been a move for Seattle, but nothing the joint is overall cheering for at this stage," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total is at 35, down from a 36.5 opener, but up from a 34.5 low point.

SECOND UPDATE: Kansas City is laying a single point in BetMGM's NFL odds for preseason Week 3, as of noon ET Friday, eight hours before kickoff. The Chiefs opened -1.5 (-105) and actually got to -2.5 Wednesday, but the line receded to -1 Thursday afternoon.

K.C. is netting 63% of early spread bets, but 62% of early spread money is on Seattle.

BetMGM's total is at a tidy 33.5, dipping from 34.5 early this morning after opening at 36.5. Ticket count is almost even, while 64% of cash is on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Patrick Mahomes, working his way back from a December knee injury, hasn't played in the preseason yet for Kansas City (0-2 SU/1-1 ATS). The biggest news out of Saturday's game at Tampa Bay: Harrison Butker's 69-yard field goal to close the first half.

That gave the Chiefs a 9-0 lead, though they went on to lose 16-15 catching 3.5 points.

Defending Super Bowl champion Seattle (0-2 SU/1-1 ATS) opted against sending out QB Sam Darnold for the first two preseason games, with Drew Lock starting both. On Sunday night, the Seahawks lost to Tennessee 19-16 getting 3 points on the road.

Don't expect to see many if any starters Friday night. BetMGM opened K.C. -1.5 (-105) in NFL odds for preseason Week 3. There's been no moveent as of Monday night.

"All indications are that Mahomes will be ready for Week 1 against the Broncos, as he's been present for every practice and hasn’t missed a rep," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "But coach Andy Reid isn’t quite ready to commit that he will be playing. Needless to say, we know Mahomes won’t be seen on the field for the preseason finale vs. Seattle.

"So who exactly is Mahomes’ backup? Justin Fields has looked the best thus far in the preseason, while Garrett Nussmeier has gotten the most playing time. Chris Oladokun is more than likely the odd man out when cuts are made."

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Philadelphia Eagles Odds

  • Opening point spread: Eagles -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Eagles -150/Bengals +125
  • Opening total: Over/Under 38.5 points scored
  • Time: 8 p.m. ET Friday (CBS)

LATEST UPDATE: As of 7:40 p.m. ET, 20 minutes before kickoff, Philly is -2.5 (-118) at BetMGM. For that matter, the Eagles haven't moved off -2.5 all week, only seeing juice adjustments.

However, BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis there's hardly a decision worth commenting on, for the side or the total. That total is at 36.5, down from a 39 opener and a stop at 38.5 along the way.

SECOND UPDATE: Philly is 2.5-point home chalk in BetMGM's preseason odds, as of noon ET Friday, eight hours before kickoff. In fact, this line has been at some iteration of Eagles -2.5 all week, after opening Monday at -2.5 (-115).

Philadelphia is taking relatively modest 58% of early spread bets, but practically all the early dollars are on the Eagles. Moneyline play is much closer to two-way on both tickets and money.

BetMGM's total is at 36.5, arriving at that point in short order Monday, after opening at 39 and stopping at 38.5 along the way. The Under is nabbing 63% of early bets/91% of early cash.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Cincinnati (2-0 SU/1-1 ATS) let Joe Burrow play a couple series in preseason Week 1, but let him sit in Game 2 Saturday vs. Chicago. Third-stringer Josh Johnson started and helped the Bengals take a 17-9 halftime edge on the way to a 27-9 victory.

Cincy easily covered as 3.5-point home underdogs.

Philadelphia (0-2 SU and ATS) has yet to send out QB Jalen Hurts. In Preseason Week 2 at New England, second-stringer Andy Dalton played the first three possessions and was just 3 of 10 for 44 yards.

By contrast, third-stringer Tanner McKee completed 16 of 22 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Still, the Eagles fell short 24-21 as 1.5-point road favorites Saturday.

For NFL preseason Week 3 odds, it appears Cincy won't have any key players on the field, and probably likwise for Philly. The Eagles opened -2.5 (-118) at BetMGM.

The spread is stable at Borgata Sports, but the total quickly dipped from 38.5 to 36.5.

"Sharp money hit the Under here upon opening this game," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "As with all preseason games, it doesn’t take a lot of money to move totals, especially when it is from respected bettors."

Washington Commanders vs. Baltimore Ravens Odds

  • Opening point spread: Ravens -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Ravens -135/Commanders +115
  • Opening total: Over/Under 35.5 points scored
  • Time: 6 p.m. ET Friday (NFL Network)

LATEST UPDATE: As of 11:30 a.m. ET Friday, 6.5 hours before kickoff, Washington is a 3-point favorite in BetMGM's NFL Preseason Week 3 Odds. The Commanders opened -2.5 Monday and poked up to -3.5 a couple times, most recently Thursday morning.

Early spread ticket count is close, with 54% of bets on the Ravens. But Baltimore is seeing 79% of early spread dollars.

BetMGM's total is down to 33.5, dropping from 34 earlier this morning after openiung at 35.5. Ticket count is dead even, and contrary to the move, 84% of bets are on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry have yet to play a preseason snap, but Baltimore is 2-0 SU and ATS. On Saturday, the Ravens won a 13-3 yawner as 2.5-point underdogs at Minnesota.

Baltimore is on a 5-0 SU and ATS run in preseason play, having gone 3-0 SU and ATS last year, John Harbaugh's final season with the team. From 2016-2023, the Ravens went on a 24-0 SU/21-2-1 ATS preseason run. New coach Jesse Minter is picking up where Harbaugh left off.

Jayden Daniels saw his first preseason action for Washington (1-1 SU and ATS) in Saturday's contest at Detroit. But Daniels played just one series, a three-and-out that included a 10-yard sack. The Commanders fell 17-13 as 1.5-point underdogs.

Neither team is expected to send out key starters Friday night. The Ravens opened as 2.5-point home favorites in BetMGM's NFL preseason odds Week 3.

"The Ravens have moved to 3.5-point favorites," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "You may see this tick back down to 3. But I expect it to stay right around there, unless we get some surprises from the coaches this week."

Los Angeles Rams vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds

  • Opening point spread: Chargers -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Chargers -150/Rams +125
  • Opening total: Over/Under 39.5 points scored
  • Time: 10 p.m. ET Thursday (NFL Network)

LATEST UPDATE: At 9:30 p.m. ET Thursday, 30 minutes before kickoff, BetMGM has the Chargers -3.5 (-105) in NFL preseason Week 3 odds. The Bolts opened -2.5 in this L.A. rivalry, but that didn't last long Monday, quickly escalating to -4.5.

However, the line spent most of the week at various iterations of Chargers -3.5.

"Right now, Chargers by 1 to 3 points would be best," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total is at 38.5, down from a 39.5 opener, but a notch above the 38 low point reached a couple times. Davis said there's nothing to the decision on the total.

SECOND UPDATE: DraftKings has the Chargers as 3.5-point home favorites, as of 12:30 p.m. ET Thursday, 9.5 hours before kickoff. The Chargers opened -2.5 and quickly advanced to -4.5 Monday, but the line has spent most of the week at -3.5.

It's actually heavy Rams play on the spread so far, at 85% of bets/69% of cash. And the Rams are taking a similar bulk of moneyline play.

DK's total is at 38.5 (Under -115), down from a 39.5 opener, but up from the 38 low point reached a couple times earlier today. The Over has 66% of bets, but 59% of money is on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Chargers starting QB Justin Herbert made a brief Preseason Week 2 appearance, all of three snaps. Trey Lance and undrafted rookie DJ Uiagalelei finished it out, and the Bolts (1-1 SU and ATS) lost to San Francisco 41-17 laying 1.5 points at home Thursday.

The Rams (2-0 SU and ATS) have yet to send out reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford. In Week 2, fourth-year QB Stetson Bennett played the first half vs. New Orleans, helping the Rams to a 20-0 lead en route to a 34-0 wipeout victory as 1.5-point home pups Saturday.

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh plans to play starters one or two series. Borgata Sports opened the Bolts at -2.5 Monday morning and by Monday night jumped to -4.5 in NFL preseason Week 3 odds.

"We saw some immediate money come in on Chargers -2.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Rams coach Sean McVay has said that we will see a lot of Ty Simpson, as he battles Bennett for the backup role to Stafford. We may not even see Bennett in this one.

"The Chargers' offense will look for some continuity between Justin Herbert and the offensive line, as reports out of practice haven’t exactly been glowing."

Borgata's total is down to 38.5 from a 39.5 opener.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills Odds

  • Opening point spread: Bills -1.5
  • Opening moneyline: Bills -125/Steelers +105
  • Opening total: Over/Under 35.5 points scored
  • Time: 7 p.m. ET Thursday (NFL Network)

LATEST UPDATE: Shortly before kickoff, DraftKings Sportsbook has Buffalo a 2.5-point home favorite. The Bills opened -1.5 and got as high as -3, but the number dipped to -2.5 earlier this evening.

It's solidly Bills action on the spread, at 78% of bets/72% of money.

DK's total is at 36.5 (Over -118), up from the 35.5 opener and 34.5 low point. Much of the upward movement has come in the past couple hours. The Over is seeing 70% of bets/76% of dollars.

SECOND UPDATE: As of noon ET Thursday, seven hours before kickoff, the Bills are 3-point favorites in BetMGM's NFL preseason Week 3 odds. That's up from the -2 opener, and in fact, the line backtracked to -1.5 a couple times during the week.

The Bills are nabbing 70% of spread tickets/87% of spread money at BetMGM. At DraftKings Sportsbook, it's a similar story, with 80% of bets/90% of cash on Buffalo.

Bills coach Joe Brady indicated that a few starters will see some time tonight, but QB Josh Allen is not among them. Plenty of backups are expected for Pittsburgh.

Early today, BetMGM's total dipped from 35.5 to 34.5. It's nearly dead-even two-way action, with 52% of tickets and money on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Pittsburgh (1-1 SU and ATS) has a blowout win and a blowout loss to its preseason credit. No surprise, Aaron Rodgers hasn't seen action in either game.

Rather, Mason Rudolph started in Week 1 and Will Howard in Week 2, though rookie Drew Allar out of Penn State saw notable action in both games. On Friday, the Steelers came up empty vs. the Jets in a 17-0 loss laying 2 points at home.

Buffalo is 2-0 SU and ATS in the preseason, with a pair of double-digit wins, even though Josh Allen only played two series in the first game. Allen sat out Week 2, but the Bills blasted Cleveland 31-7 catching 2.5 points on the road Saturday.

As with all these exhibition games, who is – and perhaps more important, who isn't – playing is key to NFL preseason Week 3 odds. It appears the big names will sit out, with Borgata Sports – a BetMGM property – opening the Bills as 1.5-point home favorites.

As of 7 p.m. ET Monday, Buffalo is out to -2.5.

"Mike McCarthy has already hinted that we won’t see Aaron Rodgers or Mason Rudolph in this one," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "So expect a heavy dose of Will Howard and Drew Allar for the Steelers, much like you saw in their last preseason game.

"Neither one got great protection from the offensive line against the Jets. So we will see if they fare any better here against the Bills' defense."

San Francisco 49ers vs. Las Vegas Raiders Odds

  • Opening point spread: Raiders -1
  • Opening moneyline: Raiders -120/49ers even
  • Opening total: Over/Under 38.5 points scored
  • Time: 8 p.m. ET Thursday (ESPN)

LATEST UPDATE: At 7:45 p.m. ET, 15 minutes pre-kick, the Raiders are -3.5 (-102) in BetMGM's NFL preseason odds. The spread opened at Raiders -1 and has spent the past couple days bouncing between -3.5/-3.

"The majority of betors are on San Francisco and the Over. But it's nothing major at all," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said, noting the moneyline is what's netting the most 49ers action.

The total is at 38.5, matching the opener, though it spent a good chunk of the past few days at 37.5.

SECOND UPDATE: Las Vegas is up to -3.5 (-102) in BetMGM's NFL odds for preseason Week 3, as of 12:30 p.m. ET Thursday. The Raiders opened -1, quickly advanced to -1.5 Monday, then leapt to -3.5 Tuesday. The number has since toggled between -3.5/-3 a couple times.

San Francisco is actually seeing 53% of spread tickets, but a whopping 93% of early spread money is on the Raiders at BetMGM. That's significantly different than DraftKings Sportsbook, where it's 75% tickets/72% money on the 49ers.

BetMGM's total is at 38.5, which is where it opened, though it sat at 37.5 much of the time from Monday-Wednesday. Ticket count is dead even, and 69% of money is on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: This matchup is worth noting just because of Fernando Mendoza, whom the Raiders took No. 1 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft. Preseason Week 2 didn't go quite as well as Week 1 for Mendoza, though Las Vegas still got the win.

Mendoza threw an early pick-six, putting the Raiders in a 14-0 first-quarter hole at Houston on Thursday. Las Vegas (1-1 SU and ATS) ultimately rallied to win 22-20 on QB Aidan O'Connell's 1-yard TD plunge with 14 seconds remaining. The Raiders cashed as 1.5-point road favorites.

San Francisco (1-1 SU/2-0 ATS) sent out starting QB Brock Purdy for just one possession in preseason Week 2. The Niners didn't score on that drive, but still hammered the Chargers 41-17 as 2-point road underdogs Thursday.

The big question ahead of the final preseason game: Will starters on either team, including Raiders QB Kirk Cousins, see the field?

Interestingly, San Fran coach Kyle Shanahan indicated the majority of starters are expected to play a short stint, yet the Niners opened as 1-point road 'dogs in Borgata's NFL preseason odds Week 3.

Las Vegas coach Klint Kubiak also indicated some starters will see action, but it sounds as if Cousins might not be among them. The Raiders are up to -1.5 as of 7 p.m. ET Monday.

"We saw some nice things from Niners running back Kaelon Black in their last preseason game," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "He took advantage of the playing time, with all of the injuries piling up for San Francisco.

"This game should see the return to action of another back, Jordan James. Don’t count on seeing Christian McCaffrey. Black and James are competing for the backup role, so that’s one thing to watch for the Niners in this one."

The total is down to 37.5 from a 38.5 opener.
