The Bengals and Bears are coming into this game with totally different public perceptions, and I think that's something very notable. Everyone and their mothers enjoyed watching the Rams beat the brakes off the Bears in prime-time last week. On the other hand, the Bengals beat the Vikings in a very close overtime game.

These situations are very different, the Rams are a Super Bowl contending team and were expected to win that game. The Vikings were 3-point favorites, but the Bengals were one of the more popular bets of the week. The Vikings also practically tried to lose that game, committing double the amount of penalties and ended up on the wrong end of the draw with a bad fumble call.

I'm going with the Bears ML here. With most sites having it in the -130 range, I think they aren't getting enough credit for being a good football team. They had a terrible mismatch in a couple key places last week, mostly the Rams d-line versus the Bears o-line, but they don't have that same problem this week. I like Joe Burrow and I believe in his future as an NFL All-Star, but I'm not convinced they are going to beat the Bears this week.

If you’re into prop betting, then I have a good spot for you wuth Ja'marr Chase over 58.5 receiving yards on DraftKings Sportsbook. In Week 1, he crushed this number putting up 100 yards including an awesome 56 yards catch. The Bears secondary repeatedly got burned on deep balls last week and I expect that trend to continue.

Chase led the Bengals in wide receiver snaps, targets, yards, and PFF grade last week. There was some bad press about him coming into the year, but its clear hes on a mission to silence all the haters.

The Bears are coming into this game 0-1 ATS after a tough loss to the Bears, while the Bengals are coming in 1-0 with that overtime win against the Vikings. From both a betting and real life perspective, teams always tend to struggle coming off overtime games and I think we will see that. Playing an additional quarter of football at this level isn't something to ignore.

Its something that's not being talked about enough. I don't love this Bears team, but I think the public's dislike has pushed this number to a point that I'm comfortable betting. Maybe we even get a treat and see rookie sensation Justin Fields take some more snaps under center.
