  • Khalil Herbert (CHI) Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+500) 

If you’ve been having fun with prime-time so far this season, then I’m sure you're going to love this game. On Monday Night, we get the Patriots vs Bears (hold the applause please). Vegas currently has the Patriots as 7.5 point favorites, with an exciting 40.5 point total. While I’m normally more a prop guy, that total does feel a bit higher considering the two offenses were working with here.  

There is still some injury news up in the air, with Mac Jones practicing, but not actually confirmed to start this week. The Zapster has been great so far, and while there isn’t a quarterback controversy yet, Jones could end up being held out for another week. Since Zapdaddy has been consistent, it’s hard for me to believe the Patriots have a sense of urgency bringing Jones back. Additionally it looks like Damien Harris is back in the lineup, ending Rhamondre Stevenson RB1 season. 

This might be one of the worst games to bet on of the season, and the quarterback uncertainty doesn’t help. When in doubt, go for the long shot touchdown scorer (and don’t chase Tyquan Thornton at +295 lol). I think Herbert is the spot to go at these odds, especially considering the talent level. While I may have a backup RB obsession, Herbert has three touchdowns on the season and should have had another last week. He broke off a huge 63 yard run and was stopped just short. Unlike most backups he’s actually involved in the game plan (hence the 33.5 rushing prop) and I think you can beat the Patriots on the ground easier then through the air.
