VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS vs. MINNESOTA WILD PREDICTIONS

The Golden Knights came alive with a pair of home victories at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, winning 5-3 against the Florida Panthers on St. Patrick's Day, and 5-1 against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. Both wins came behind Logan Thompson, who has turned aside 71 of the 75 shots he has faced. The Golden Knights offense has averaged 4.3 goals per game across the past four outings, and the OVER has cashed in five in a row for VGK.

The Wild have also picked up wins in consecutive outings, topping the Boston Bruins 4-2 on Wednesday before pushing past the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday, 3-1. Unlike VGK, Minnesota has cashed the UNDER at a 2-1-1 clip across the past four outings. Minnesota is hoping the third time is a charm this season against Vegas, losing 3-2 on The Strip back on Nov. 11 against Laurent Brossoit, and 6-4 on Dec. 12 while facing Robin Lehner.

Starting backstop Robin Lehner might be forced to miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. While Thompson has been strong in the crease for Vegas in the past two games, he isn't viewed as a long-term solution. And the backup Brossoit has really struggled. Might we see a reunion with Marc-Andre Fleury heading back from Chicago to Vegas? The Flower is rumored to be on the chopping block in Chitown.

The Golden Knights have cashed the OVER in five in a row, allowing 22 total goals across the past five outings, including at least three goals in five of the past six contests. The OVER-UNDER has split in the first two meetings between these clubs.

VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS vs. MINNESOTA WILD BETTING CONCLUSION

The Golden Knights are going through a rough patch right now, as the offense is not a problem, but the goaltending has not been good. Well, Lehner is banged up and in danger of missing the rest of the season, and Brossoit is struggling. Thompson has been decent, but he is a band-aid.

The Wild have also been struggling a little lately, and VGK has been Talbot's kryptonite, losing each of the two previous matchups this season in Vegas, and it didn't matter who the tendy was in the other crease. However, this is Minnesota's first try at home against Vegas, and the Wild has been good in their home barn. Look for the Wild to keep the Golden Knights down on the road, with a lean to the OVER.
