USA vs. Australia Odds

  • Opening moneyline: USA -135/Australia +350/Draw 270
  • Opening total: Over/Under 2.5 goals scored
  • Time: 3 p.m. ET Friday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: As noted above, USA already has a match under its belt, spanking Paraguay 4-1 as a +105 favorite Friday night. Folarin Balogun netted two first-half goals, helping stake the U.S. to a 3-0 halftime lead, practically unheard of in U.S. World Cup lore.

Australia's opener is late Saturday night in Vancouver, a midnight ET kickoff vs. Turkey. Australia is a healthy +425 underdog in that match and an even bigger 'dog for Match 2 vs. the U.S.

In USA vs. Australia odds, the American side opened as -135 chalk at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Aussies +350 and Draw +270. But as of 6:30 p.m. ET Saturday, with the U.S. coming off a big win, the three-way moneyline is USA -195/Australia +500/Draw +360.

All of that movement has come in the past 20 hours, in the wake of the U.S. rout of Paraguay.

And the very earliest of action is all American, with practically every ticket and dollar on the home side for Friday's match in Seattle. Neither Australia nor Draw is taking much action at all.
