2026 College Football Odds for Week 9

Arizona vs. Texas Tech Odds

  • Opening point spread: Texas Tech -4
  • Opening moneyline: Texas Tech TBA/Arizona TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 56 points scored
  • Time: Noon ET Saturday (TV TBA)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Texas Tech (6-1 SU/3-4 ATS) caught the upset bug on a Week 8 trip to Cincinnati. The Red Raiders closed as 10.5-point road favorites, but trailed 24-6 at halftime and got no closer than nine from there in a 37-24 loss.

Arizona (6-1 SU/3-4 ATS) had no such trouble while laying double digits vs. Iowa State. The Wildcats rumbled to a 39-3 victory as 11.5-point home chalk to run their win streak to five, and they cashed for the third straight week.

Circa Sports' opening numbers are well-respected and often draw early sharp action. Circa opened Texas Tech -4 on Sunday afternoon, and just more than an hour later, the Red Raiders dipped to -3.5.

However, the total danced around a bit, going from 56 to 56.5 right out of the gate, then backing up straight to 55 after about 50 minutes.

Auburn vs. Ole Miss Odds

  • Opening point spread: Ole Miss -13.5

  • Time: 12:45 p.m. ET Saturday (SEC Network)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Ole Miss (5-2 SU/3-4 ATS) dug itself into a 24-3 halftime hole at Texas in Week 8. The Rebels rallied with three touchdowns to tie it at 24 early in the fourth quarter, but ultimately fell short 34-27 catching 3.5 points.

Auburn (4-3 SU/2-5 ATS) didn't have any carry-over from its shocking Week 7 upset of Georgia. The Tigers trailed LSU 31-10 at halftime and lost 38-17 as 7.5-point home underdogs in Week 8.

Ole Miss opened -13.5 in Circa's college football odds Week 9 market, with no moves in the first hour. However, Circa's total was very active early, after opening at 56.

Within 10 minutes Sunday afternoon, it went to 57, then backtracked to 55. But the number then started going north again, with stops at 56/56.5/57.5 on the way to 58, all within the first 60 minutes.

Florida vs. Georgia Odds

  • Opening point spread: Georgia -10.5
  • Opening moneyline: Georgia TBA/Florida TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 56 points scored
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Georgia (6-1 SU/5-2 ATS) was probably relieved to get a Week 8 bye, after its stunning Week 7 result. The Bulldogs, ranked No. 1 at the time, were 19.5-point home favorites vs. Auburn and tumbled 27-24.

Florida (5-2 SU/4-3 ATS) is also coming off a bye, following a double-digit upset win. The Gators were 13.5-point road 'dogs vs. Texas and notched a 27-24 victory, following blowout losses at Missouri and at home to South Carolina.

Per usual, Florida-Georgia is a neutral-site matchup in Jacksonville, Fla. Circa Sports opened the Bulldogs -10.5, went to -11.5 within five minutes, then returned to 10.5 within another five minutes Sunday afternoon.

Utah vs. Cincinnati Odds

  • Opening point spread: Utah -6.5
  • Opening moneyline: Utah TBA/Cincinnati TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 56 points scored
  • Time: 3:45 p.m. ET Saturday (TV TBA)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Cincinnati (5-2 SU/4-3 ATS) notched one of the bigger upsets in Week 8. The Bearcats put Texas Tech in a 24-6 halftime hole and went on to a 37-24 victory catching 10.5 points at home.

Utah (7-0 SU/6-1 ATS) trailed Houston all the way into the fourth quarter. But the Utes scored two touchdowns in the final stanza and held on for a 21-14 victory, barely cashing as 6.5-point home favorites.

Utah is tied for the second-best spread-covering mark in the nation, behind only UCLA (7-0 SU and ATS).

The Utes opened as 6.5-point road chalk in Circa Sports' college football Week 9 odds. There was no movement in the first hour Sunday afternoon.

Circa's total opened at 56, and 50 minutes later, the number went straight to 58.

Ohio State vs. USC Odds

  • Opening point spread: Ohio State -7
  • Opening moneyline: Ohio State TBA/USC TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 51 points scored
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (NBC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Ohio State (6-1 SU/5-2 ATS) is coming off a bye week, but QB Julian Sayin will need far more time than that to recover from a shoulder/injury. Sayin was hurt midway through the fourth quarter of Ohio State's 19-15 win laying 2.5 points at Indiana in Week 7.

Sayin could miss the rest of the season. True freshman Luke Fahey subbed in for Sayin and is likely to start vs. the Trojans.

USC (6-2 SU/2-6 ATS) played itself into a precarious spot in the Big Ten chase. The Trojans were 2.5-point favorites at Wisconsin and got rolled 24-7, scoring only a second-quarter TD. Southern Cal is on a 1-5 ATS slide.

Circa Sports opened Ohio State-USC at Buckeyes -7, with no movement in the first hour Sunday afternoon. Ditto for the total, which is steady at 51.

Miami vs. North Carolina Odds

  • Opening point spread: Miami -14.5
  • Opening moneyline: Miami TBA/North Carolina TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 52 points scored
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (TV TBA)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Miami (7-0 SU/5-2 ATS) rebounded nicely after getting a huge Week 7 scare from Florida State. The Hurricanes pounded Pittsburgh 52-23 giving 20.5 points at home.

North Carolina (4-3 SU and ATS) saw its modest two-game SU and three-game ATS upswings end in Week 8 — in upset fashion. The Tar Heels blew a 20-10 fourth-quarter lead, losing to Syracuse 31-30 in overtime as 7.5-point home favorites.

It took a little time, but Circa Sports' line was on the move Sunday afternoon. Miami opened -14.5, then jumped straight to -16.5 after about 25 minutes.
