Game time for Thursday night’s contest at American Airlines Center in Dallas is slated for 9:30 p.m. (ET) with ESPN carrying the national broadcast. BetMGM has opened the Suns as two-point road favorites holding the 3-2 series lead in this best-of-seven showdown. The total line for Game 6 has been set at 214 points.

Phoenix was able to open the early 2-0 series lead with a pair of lopsided wins at home. Dallas evened the score with back-to-back victories at home in the next two games. The crucial 3-2 series edge went to the Suns with Tuesday night’s 110-80 beatdown over the Mavericks as seven-point home favorites on the closing line. The total went OVER in the first two games but its has now stayed UNDER in the last three meetings.

The Suns have already proven themselves to be the better all-around team in this matchup. They came in as the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and they are now hefty -800 favorites to advance on to the next round on the updated series price.

The lone wild card in the Mavericks’ hand to force a deciding Game 7 is point guard Luka Doncic. He started this series by putting up 45 points in Game 1. With 28 points and 11 rebounds in Wednesday’s Game 5, he has posted a double-double in four of this series’ first five games.

Most likely playing his last home game of the season, Doncic alone adds value to betting on Dallas to keep this series alive. The major drain on that value is the Mavericks’ recent history against their opponents on Thursday night. Their win at home in Game 3 snapped a straight-up 11-game losing streak against Phoenix.
