BetMGM Bonus Code VIBONUS Unlocks $1,000 Promo for Any Tuesday Game
BetMGM bonus code VIBONUS will unlock a $1,000 "first bet on the house" at BetMGM Sportsbook. That means your first wager on the platform will be refunded in bonus bets should it lose, up to $1,000.
Here's a quick example -- if you put $50 on the Cardinals against the Pirates at +120 on Tuesday night, you'll profit $60 and keep your $50 wager if the Cards win. That's now $110 cash in your account. If St. Louis loses, you'll get $50 back in bonus bets.
Confused? We'll explain more below.
Signing Up at BetMGM
It's simple to sign up at BetMGM. Just follow these steps.
- Use this link to sign up, or just go straight to betmgm.com.
- Register with all your real information. Sportsbooks use the last four digits of your social security number to verify your identity, so you must use all real information -- address, name, etc., to be able to deposit.
- Enter bonus code VIBONUS at checkout to claim the new-user offer.
- Make your first bet up to $1,000, and if it loses, you'll be refunded in bonus bets equal to whatever you lost
That's it! You must be 21 years old and like I said, physically located in a BetMGM state. You do not have to live there.
If you're traveling to a new state, you do need to sign up for a new BetMGM account, even if you're already opened another one where you live.
How BetMGM's bonus offer works
BetMGM unfortunately does not do a great job of displaying your bonus offer when you go to make your first bet. You just have to place it, and if it loses, you'll get refunded in bonus bets.
Back to our example above.
If you deposit $50 and bet it all on the Cardinals at +120 against the Pirates, there are two ways it can go:
- Cardinals win, you profit $60 ($50 x 1.2) and keep the original $50. You have $110 cash in your account, and the promo is effectively over.
- Pirates win, you lose your $50 cash, but you get a $50 bonus bet back.
OK, pretend the Cardinals lose, and you get $50 worth of bonus bets back. Bonus bets are like a credit in which you keep any profit, but not the bonus bet itself.
You put it all on Ohio vs. San Diego State in college football action on Saturday, taking the Bobcats moneyline, also at +120.
- If Ohio wins, you profit $60, but you don't keep your $50 bonus bet. So you'll have $60 cash in your account after a $50 deposit, good for a $10 profit.
- If SDSU wins, you're left with $0.
Where is this offer available?
BetMGM operates its online sportsbook in 20 states (including Washington D.C.), though the Nevada product is different than the rest of the country.
In New York, Kansas, D.C., Mississippi and Nevada, there are no new-user offers available. That's either because the cost of operating is too high, or it has little to no competition, or you can't sign up online.
In Washington D.C. and Mississippi, you can bet online, but only in certain areas -- D.C. around Nationals Park and in Mississippi inside BetMGM-owned casinos. In Nevada, you have to sign up in person.
