The Eastern Conference Finals will pick back up on Saturday night for Game 3 when the visiting Miami Heat face off with the Boston Celtics. Coverage on ABC will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET from TD Garden

The Celtics stormed back in Game 2 with an emphatic 127-102 road victory to tie the series at 1. Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum scored 27 points (8-for-13 shooting) with five rebounds and five assists. Marcus Smart (12 assists, nine rebounds) and Jaylen Brown (eight rebounds) each added 24 points apiece for the Celtics. The Celtics trio combined to connect on a staggering 13 3-pointers.

The Heat at one point had a lead as large as 10 in the first half. However, the Celtics ran off to a jarring 70-45 lead at halftime. It was the largest postseason road halftime lead in the illustrious history of the franchise. The Celtics led by as many as 34 points in the massive rout.

Besides the departure of Derrick White due to the birth of his child, the Celtics had their full roster at their disposal. Smart (midfoot sprain) and Al Horford (health and safety protocols) made their series debut after each sitting out Game 1. Horford drained all six of his shots, including both 3-pointers, for 10 points in his 33 minutes.

Celtics reserve Grant Williams contributed 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting and made both of his 3-point attempts.

In total, the Celtics shot a blistering 43-for-84 overall (51.2 percent) 20-for-40 (50 percent) from the 3-point line, and 21-for-23 (91.3 percent) from the free throw line.

Heat superstar Jimmy Butler led the way for Miami with 29 points on 11-for-18 shooting. Stopgap starting point guard Gabe Vincent chipped in 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting. Heat starter P.J.Tucker exited in the third quarter with a left knee contusion and is questionable for Game 3.

Check out Saturday's predictions and best bets for Game 3 of Heat v. Celtics:

The Heat struggled to make only 10 of their 34 attempts from beyond the 3-point line for a putrid 29.4 percentage.

Six-time All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry has been upgraded to questionable for Game 3. Lowry (hamstring) has only played in five games this postseason after sustaining the injury in the first round vs. the Atlanta Hawks.

The Celtics are favored by 6.5 points vs. the Heat in Game 3. This is a shift after the Heat were favored by 3.5 points against the Celtics in Game 2. The Celtics are 13-4 in their last 17 games vs. the spread. The Heat are 14-6 in their last 20 contests against the spread.

The over/under is set for 207.5 points. This was the same over/under amount for Game 2, with the actual total checking in at 229. Both games in the series have gone UNDER. Count on the UNDER again, as it’s unlikely the Celtics repeat their scorching percentages despite being at home. Also, the Heat currently don’t have a reliable second offensive option alongside Butler.

The Heat have thrived on being counted out all season, as they earned the East’s No. 1 seed. In their biggest test of the season, they’ll muster enough to cover the spread but the Celtics will prevail to go up 2-1 in the series.
