Changes to the sports betting laws in Canada earlier this year are ushering in changes to the entire industry. With wagers on single games now legal, the rapid expansion of legal sports betting is fueling these changes.

Case in point is the Parleh Media Group. This is an independent content and production company, and also the creator of The Parleh, which has been Canada’s primary media source for sports betting news.

Early this month, the company announced the launch of Parleh TV ahead of the new season in the NHL. This will be Canada’s first media network completely dedicated to legal sports betting.

The free online channel made its official debut on Oct. 12 to coincide with the start of the new NHL regular season.

Parleh TV will be on the air 24 hours a day and available to all sports fans. The Parleh made its official debut in June of this year. Since that point, the company has hired dozens of content creators to produce relevant videos.

The subject matter of this content revolves around sports in general along with the betting component. It covers events from all around the world showcasing the fun and entertaining side of sports.

The addition of Parleh TV gives Canadians access to a full slate of popular sports betting shows. One of the most popular offerings is sure to be Puck Talks. This is The Parleh’s marquee offering, primarily covering the sport of ice hockey (the country’s national pastime).

The NHL has expanded to 32 teams with the addition of the Seattle Kraken for this season. There are seven franchises located in Canada to form the strongest presence in any US professional sports league.

Other popular programs offered include Parleh Today, Parleh Picks, Footy Talks, Five A Side, Fast Money EPL and Spreadzies.

Kevin Kennedy is the President and Executive Producer of Parleh Media Group. He recently offered the following insight into his company’s latest offering:

“From NFL over/unders and weekly CFL winners to dark-horse picks for the Stanley Cup, The Parleh has taken the unknown out of sports betting and is making it fun and entertaining for the everyday sports fan.

Our social accounts are already a must follow, and now with Parleh TV we can be there for Canadians 24/7 to help get them through all the clutter and data so they can be informed and entertained when they make a casual bet.”

Parleh TV will also bring high-profile brands and sports bettors together. ThePostGame is a sports media consultancy that has partnered with Parleh Media Group. This entity will work with both Canadian and US-based media and sports properties.

The short list of media properties include NBC Sports, USA Today Sports Media Group, and FOX Sports. Sports properties in this partnership are the NFL’s New York Jets, the Canadian Premier League and PGA Worldwide Exhibitions.
