Kalshi and ADI Predictstreet Team Up to Bring Prediction Markets to the World Cup Knockout Stage

As the FIFA World Cup 2026 enters its most consequential phase, two of the prediction market world's most prominent names have joined forces. ADI Predictstreet, the Official Prediction Market Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026, has announced a strategic branding and product partnership with Kalshi, the world's leading prediction market exchange. The deal arrives just as billions of fans worldwide turn their attention to the knockout rounds.

What the Deal Looks Like

The partnership is both a branding play and a longer-term product arrangement. Heading into the knockout stage, Kalshi will be co-branded alongside ADI Predictstreet in stadium, TV, and online placements, and will provide market expansion to ADI Predictstreet's platform over the longer term.

In other words, Kalshi gets prominent, official World Cup branding it didn't previously have. It's a formal World Cup foothold without the exorbitant price tag that a direct FIFA sponsorship would have required. ADI Predictstreet, for its part, gains access to one of the most active prediction market platforms in the world to help boost its relatively modest trading activity.

Financial terms were not disclosed, though Front Office Sports reported that Kalshi is paying ADI Predictstreet under the deal.

A Record-Breaking Moment for Kalshi

The partnership comes at a remarkable moment for Kalshi. In the first two weeks of World Cup play, the platform has seen explosive growth, including a record single day of over $1 billion in trading volume. Total trading volume on the platform for the tournament reached approximately $6.7 billion, with a Bank of America note estimating Kalshi could hit between $12 billion and $13 billion by the time the final whistle blows.

A blog post from Andreessen Horowitz, an investor in Kalshi, noted that weekly trading volumes across prediction markets reached $14.5 billion for the first time last week, while the value of outstanding bets hit a record for the third consecutive week at $1.6 billion.

The ADI deal is one of several World Cup moves Kalshi has made in recent weeks. The company has also inked partnerships with the Argentine Football Association, Men in Blazers, Luka Modrić, and the Croatian Football Federation.

Who Is ADI Predictstreet?

ADI Predictstreet is a Gibraltar-licensed and regulated prediction market platform built on ADI Chain's compliance-ready infrastructure, with ambitions to scale into thousands of prediction markets worldwide covering sports, news, technology, and culture.

The company sits under the umbrella of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al Nahyan, the brother of the UAE's president, the country's national security advisor, and the head of a business empire valued at more than $1.3 trillion. FIFA named ADI Predictstreet its official prediction market partner in April, giving the Abu Dhabi-based company a prominent role at the 2026 World Cup despite its limited public profile and the absence of a consumer-facing U.S. trading platform.

That official status has not yet translated into significant trading volume. On Kalshi, more than $549 million has been traded on which national team will win the tournament. ADI Predictstreet has attracted just $57,000 in the same market. Bringing Kalshi into the fold addresses that gap directly, pairing ADI's official FIFA credentials with a platform that fans are actually using.

Bigger Than One Tournament

Both companies are framing this as something more than a short-term World Cup activation. The partnership is described as a major milestone in ADI Predictstreet's global expansion strategy, with the goal of building a prediction market ecosystem that spans sports, news, entertainment, culture, and real-world events.

Kalshi's CEO was straightforward about why the timing made sense. "The World Cup is the largest stage for any brand," said Tarek Mansour, Co-Founder and CEO of Kalshi. "We see this as a massive opportunity to increase global awareness and fan engagement."

The structure of the deal mirrors ADI's earlier arrangement with Fanatics Markets, which launched a FIFA World Cup hub through a co-branded partnership with ADI. A pattern is emerging: ADI Predictstreet is using its official FIFA designation to bring in established platforms, expanding its reach one jurisdiction at a time.

A Crowded Field

The announcement lands in an increasingly competitive prediction market landscape. Polymarket has run broadcast ads featuring American rapper Future, while Kalshi has featured athletes like Luka Modrić in its own campaigns. DraftKings also announced on Friday that it is launching its own prediction market called DKeX, citing heightened interest from the World Cup.

With the knockout stage underway and the world watching, the competition to turn soccer fandom into prediction market activity is only going to intensify from here.
