College football odds for Week 1 are on the board and receiving plenty of attention as we tackle all the major storylines of the weekend. The Nevada Wolf Pack and USC Trojans meet at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 2 at 6:30 p.m. ET on Pac-12 Network.

Nevada vs No. 6 USC Odds

• Opening point spread: USC -38.5
• Opening moneyline: USC -80000/Nevada +2750
• Opening total: Over/Under 62.5 points scored
• Time: 6:30 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network)

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET MONDAY: Southern Cal (1-0 SU, 1-1 ATS) let San Jose State hang around for a half in Week 0, with USC up 21-14 at the break. Then the Trojans turned on the jets en route to a 56-28 victory.

However, USC failed to cash as hefty 31-point chalk.

Nevada, playing its 2022-23 opener, had a dismal campaign last year. The Wolf Pack were 2-10 SU/4-8 ATS, finishing the season on an 0-10 SU nosedive (2-8 ATS).

When Caesars Sports first posted this game May 20, the Trojans dropped 3 points to -35.5 within a couple hours. However, the line has been at USC -38 since June 12. The total is out to 66.5, with 2.5 points of that shift coming in one shot on Sunday.
