UPDATE 4 P.M. ET MONDAY: Tulane had a gem of a 2022-23 season, particularly for bettors. The Green Wave went 12-2 SU and ATS, posting the nation's No. 1 spread-covering record.

Tulane capped the year with an exhilarating 46-45 comeback win over USC, cashing as a 1-point underdog in the Cotton Bowl.

South Alabama put together a solid season, as well, going 10-3 SU/7-5-1 ATS. The Jaguars won their last five regular-season games as part of an 8-1 SU run. But in the New Orleans Bowl vs. Western Kentucky, the Jags got rolled 44-23 as 3.5-point favorites.

By June 21, Tulane was up to -8 in Caesars' college football odds Week 0 market. But by Aug. 23, the number receded to Green Wave -6.5, where it sits now. The total just made a notable downward move today, straight to 52.5, then to 52.
