Tech Trends – Week 12

BUFFALO at OHIO... Solich 14-8 vs. line since LY and has covered last six vs. FBS foes at Athens. Bulls however 8-2-1 vs. spread last 11 away from home and 8-2 last ten on board. Home team has won and covered last five in series.

MIAMI-OHIO at NORTHERN ILLINOIS... NIU has switched gears and won last 6 SU, covering 5 of those, but Miami on 6-1 spread run. Huskies still just 2-5 last 7 vs. line as MAC host. RedHawks have covered 3 of last 4 away TY.

TOLEDO at KENT STATE... Rockets 13-7 vs. line last 20 as visitor. Kent State 3-0 vs. line as host TY but just 4-7 vs. line last 11 MAC games.

TULANE at HOUSTON... Willie Fritz 8-4 last 12 as dog. Fritz has also covered last two vs. Cougs.

FAU at NORTH TEXAS... Kiffin just 2-8 vs. line TY but did destroy UNT in both meetings last season. Mean Green just 1-5 vs. line last six TY.

MEMPHIS at SMU... SMU has been obliterated L4 by Memphis. Tigers however only 1-3 vs. line away TY.

BOISE STATE at NEW MEXICO... Davie has mostly had Boise’s number, covering 5 of 6 vs. Broncos since arriving at UNM in 2012. Boise however 8-4-1 vs. spread last 13 on MW trail, while Lobos only 3-8 vs. spread last 11 as host.

INDIANA at MICHIGAN... Harbaugh has covered last four at Ann Arbor. Meanwhile IU only 2-7 vs. line last nine away. Hoosiers, however, have covered last 4 in series.

PITTSBURGH at WAKE FOREST... Hot Pitt covers last five TY and 7-3 vs. line last ten as visitor. But Narduzzi just 7-14 as chalk since 2015. Wake 1-6 vs. spread last seven at Winston-Salem.

IOWA at ILLINOIS... Iowa has owned series lately, winning last four (3-1 vs. the points). Ferentz on 14-2-1 run as visiting favorite since 2013. Lovie on 5-14 spread skid in Big Ten games.

WISCONSIN at PURDUE... Wiscy having a tough go TY, only 2-8 vs. line. Meanwhile Brohm 6-2 last seven vs. spread. Interestingly road team has covered last four in series.

VIRGINIA at GEORGIA TECH... Paul Johnson on mini streak with 5-1 spread mark last 6 TY. Cavs have not closed fast for Bronco, 2-8 vs. line in last four games of reg season since 2016. Home team 7-0-1 vs. line last 8.

NORTHWESTERN at MINNESOTA... Underdog team is 9-0-1 vs. line in Cat games TY... with NU 0-4 as chalk. Fitz was 9-6 as chalk last two years. Fleck only 5-10-1 vs. spread in Big Ten games since LY. Home team has won and covered last four in series.

DUKE at CLEMSON... Dabo has won and covered last 5 TY. Cutcliffe however is 4-0 as dog TY and covers last six in role, and 24-11-1 in role since 2013. Duke also 6-1 vs. spread last 7 away from Durham.

PENN STATE at RUTGERS... James Franklin only 2-2 vs. line against Rutgers since 2014, and Ash actually 9-5 vs. spread last 14 Big Ten games, and decent 8-7 last 15 as home dog.

TEXAS TECH at KANSAS STATE... Bill Snyder has covered 5 of last 7 vs. TT. Raiders on 6-3 spread uptick last 9 TY.

UCONN at EAST CAROLINA... Edsall 2-7-1 vs. line TY, though actually 4-3-1 last 8 vs. line away (1-3-1 TY). ECU not much better with no covers five of last six TY and 9-23-1 vs. spread since Montgomery arrived in 2016. Pirates, however, have covered last 2 in series.

USF at TEMPLE... Owls 7-1 last eight vs. line TY, 14-5 last 19 on board since mid 2017. USF no covers last four of last five TY. Home team has won and covered handily last three in series.

UMASS at GEORGIA... UMass 4-8 last 12 on board. Kirby Smart on 17-8 spread uptick, though 3-5 last 8 laying 20 or more.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN at COASTAL CAROLINA... Lunsford 9-4 last 13 on board, though only 2-2 vs. line away TY. But Chants only 1-6 vs. spread last six as Belt host.

MISSOURI at TENNESSEE... Mizzou just 1-5 vs. spread last six away from home, no covers last 3 as road chalk. Pruitt has covered 4 of last 5 as dog.

MTSU at KENTUCKY... Stoops 0-3 as home chalk TY, no covers last 9 as home chalk. Though MTSU no covers last five vs. SEC.

OHIO STATE at MARYLAND... Urban 1-4 vs. line away TY, though Bucks have destroyed Terps last two years. Md 4-2 vs. line as host TY (counts FedEx vs. Tex), but just 2-4 last six as home dog.

NC STATE at LOUISVILLE... NCS on 1-4 spread slump TY, but Cards worse at 1-9 vs. line, and now 6-21 vs. spread since late 2016.

CINCINNATI at UCF... Cincy 7-4 vs. line last 11 away from Nippert, and Fickell 7-3 as dog since LY. UCF however 7-3-1 run vs. line since late LY. Handy wins for UCF last 2 meetings.

LIBERTY at AUBURN... Flames 2-1 as DD dog TY. Malzahn 1-4 as DD chalk TY, 6-17-2 in role since early 2014. Tigers no covers last four in front of Iron bowl vs. Bama.

FIU at CHARLOTTE... FIU 12-5 vs. line last 17 reg season, also covers first four as visitor TY.

NEW MEXICO STATE at BYU... Ags only 2-8 vs. line TY, 2-11 L13 reg season vs. line. Sitake 10-5 last 15 on board since 0-8 spread slump to begin 2017 and has covered last four laying DD.

AIR FORCE at WYOMING... If Force a dog note 4-0-2 mark in role TY, 17-6-2 getting points since 2014. Bohl only 3-9 vs. points last 12 reg season games, but he is 4-0 vs. line against Calhoun.

UTAH at COLORADO... Buffs 1-4 vs. line last five TY, just 3-8 last 11 vs. points at Boulder. Mac just 3-8 last 11 as dog.

UTAH STATE at COLORADO STATE... Utags 8-1-1 vs. line TY (3-1 away), while Bobo on 3-14 spread skid.

SYRACUSE vs. NOTRE DAME (at Yankee Stadium)... Irish only 5-8-1 last 14 reg season games vs. spread. Cuse 7-2-1 vs. spread TY after Ville win, and Babers 9-2 last 11 as dog.

GEORGIA STATE at APPALACHIAN STATE... GS stumbling, 1-8 vs. line last 9 TY, 0-5 as road dog. App on 11-2 spread uptick since late 2017. Though road team has covered last 3 in series.

UTSA at MARSHALL... UTSA on 3-15 spread skid since mid 2017. Herd, however, just 2-6 last eight vs. spread at home.

STANFORD at CAL... Big Game! Cal on 4-game cover streak TY after dropping previous 5 vs. line, and Wilcox 11-4 as dog since LY. Treehad covered five straight in series until LY.

ARIZONA STATE at OREGON... Herm 4-2 as dog TY, ASU 13–6 last 19 vs. line in reg season. Vengeful Ducks 8-4 vs. spread last 12 at Autzen though just 7-10-1 overall last 18 on board.

ARIZONA at WASHINGTON STATE... Leach 8-2 vs. line TY, 29-14 last 43 reg season . Cats 2-7 vs. spread last 9 away from Tucson.

NEVADA at SAN JOSE STATE... Pack has covered last 4 and 5 of last 6 TY, 11-6 vs. line since mid 2017. Pack 4-1 vs. line L5 vs. SJ.

TCU at BAYLOR... Frogs no covers last 7 TY, 2-11 vs. line since late 2017.
