2025 Ryder Cup Odds
Early Action

UPDATE MONDAY, SEPT. 8: With 2.5 weeks until the event begins, The SuperBook has three-way odds of USA -135/Europe +150/Tie +1300. There's also a two-way to-lift-the-trophy market, which is at USA -135/Europe +115.
That represents no odds movement, in the wake of captains Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald filling out each team's roster.
"There was no adjustment in the line either way, as a majority of selections were expected by both captains," SuperBook VP of risk Jeff Sherman said.
So, where is the money flowing?
"We have seen solid support for USA in the lift-the-trophy market, and solid support for Europe in the three-way market, which offers a higher plus price on Europe than the lift-the-trophy market," Sherman said. "Currently, the book needs the USA for a small decision."
Based on recent trends, Sherman and The SuperBook might get that.
The past five Ryder Cups have been won by the home team. Most recently, in 2023, Europe posted a 16.5-11.5 victory at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Italy.
Home Cooking
UPDATE MONDAY, SEPT. 8: As noted above, home soil has proven positive in Ryder Cup odds. Sherman noted the venue impacts the price, for certain.
"There's no question the home team gets the price built into it," Sherman said. "The event has traditionally seen home-team support, rather than patriotic USA support. That's especially so when played in Europe, where we would see more European support than USA support.
"When it comes to Bethpage Black, the course will favor long hitters, with its length. Keegan Bradley will have influence in course setup, which would be more beneficial for his team, too."
Also aiding U.S. team captain Bradley: The red-hot play of world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who won the PGA Championship in May and the Open Championship in July.

Ryder Cup Betting History
The Ryder Cup is a golf event that features teams from the United States and Europe, going head-to-head over a three-day period. Each team consists of 12 golfers. Those golfers are selected to the team first on rankings, then on captain's picks.
The golfers from each team compete against one another in eight foursome matches, eight fourball matches and 12 single matches. Each match is worth one point, and if a match ends up tied, then both teams are awarded a half-point.
The first team to earn 14½ points wins the Ryder Cup. If both teams are tied after all the matches are played, then the team that won the previous Ryder Cup retains the trophy.
