The PGA TOUR moves to the  John Deere Classic  at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois for the third leg of the Midwestern portion of the schedule after inaugural events the past two weekends in Detroit and Minneapolis.

PRIME MATCHUPS

Each week we'll take a look at the best round matchups to try and build up a nice bankroll.

* - Bud Cauley (-115) vs. Sam Burns (-115): Cauley is an exceptional putter, ranking 29th in Putts Per Round (28.51), and he is first overall on Tour in Strokes Gained: Around the Green, an area of importance this week at TPC Deere Run. Look for Cauley, who was 12th in his most recent appearance in this event in 2017, while finishing eighth in 2016. He is worth a high-unit bet this weekend in this favorable matchup.

* - Double Bet or Guaranteed Pick

Sungjae Im (-110) vs. Lucas Glover (-120): The 21-year-old South Korean has been tremendously accurate off the tee, and he is 40th in Greens In Regulation (GIR) Percentage and 27th in Birdie Average. In addition, he is 25th in SG: ARound the Green and 39th in Putting average (1.744). All of those areas of success should mean a strong finish just like last week in the inaugural 3M Open in Minnesota when he was 15th. He is 21st or better in each of his past four showings, too.

Last event (Travelers): 2-0 (+200)
This season: 29-27-2 (-115)

 OTHER BETS

Top 20 Finish - Zach Johnson (+100): Johnson has jokingly referred to this event as the fifth major. It's no disrespect, as he has showed well in the past at TPC Deere Run. He ended the three-year run of Steve Stricker from 2009-11, winning the 2012 installment, and he posted runner-up finishes in 2009, 2013 and 2014. At even money Johnson is certainly worth a roll of the dice for a top-20 showing at a place he loves.

Top 20 Finish - Kyle Stanley (+185): Stanley is worth a small-unit bet, as he has a runner-up finish in this event back in 2011, and he has made the cut in six of his past eight stops in the Quad Cities. One interesting note, Stanley ranks 23rd in Tour in Final-Round Scoring Average, so if he is still alive on Sunday, look for him to be a closer and shoot up the leaderboard. At this price he is a strong value.

Top 20 Finish - Sungjae Im (+100): The 21-year-old hooked me up last week, and I like the way he is rolling. He has four consecutive finishes of 21st or better, and he checks off all the boxes for success at the JDC in his first-career appearance at the event.

Top 20 Finish - Bud Cauley (+225): As mentioned above, I REALLY like Cauley in his matchup against Burns. However, a top-20 finish should easily be within reach, too, as he is outstanding around the green and his putter is hot. Previous winners at this event have had scores well under par, and the short game and strong work on the dance floor is what brought them to the top.

Top 20 Finish - Daniel Berger (+120): Berger managed a fifth-place finish in his only previous appearance at TPC Deere Run. He also rolls in with a 15th-place finish last weekend in Minnesota. His distance off the tee, accuracy from the tee box and good work on the greens will give him a leg up. As long as his subpar scrambling doesn't hurt him, he'll cash this prop.

Last event: 1-3 (-160)
This season: 19-42 (-1848)
