The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles are hooking up on Christmas Day for the first time since 2008 as they meet at Crypto.com Arena.

Boston's offense is on fire by scoring 144 points in a blowout of Sacramento, then the Celtics followed that effort up with a 145-point spot against the Clippers on Saturday.

The Celtics knocked down 47 three-pointers in the two victories, as Boston has won seven of eight of games since losing to Indiana at the In-Season Tournament quarterfinals.

The Lakers are back home after snapping a four-game slide in Saturday's 129-120 victory as Oklahoma City as 3.5-point underdogs. LeBron James led the Lakers with 40 points as L.A. shot 16-of-32 from three-point range.

Los Angeles is playing only its second home game in nearly three weeks as the Lakers lost their last game at Crypto.com Arena to the Knicks last Monday.

The Lakers have excelled at home by winning nine of 12 and this will mark the second time that L.A. is a home underdog this season.

Boston beat Los Angeles in overtime twice last season, including the infamous non-foul call when James was driving for a layup to win in the final seconds of regulation at TD Garden.

The Phoenix Suns probably never thought at Christmas they would be sitting with a losing record, but here we are.

The Suns try to improve to 15-15 with a win on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks, who snapped a three-game slide in Saturday's 144-119 blowout of San Antonio.

Luka Doncic returned to the Mavs' lineup after missing Friday's loss at Houston as he scored 39 points against the Spurs, marking the third time this season Dallas has scored at least 144 points.

The Suns dropped consecutive games at Portland and Sacramento as Phoenix is in the midst of a 1-10 ATS slide.

Last season, the Suns and Mavericks split four games, capped off by Phoenix winning at Dallas in March as Durant and Devin Booker combined for 63 points in a 130-126 victory.
