BREAKING: Brock Purdy “A Longshot” To Play In Week 2 vs. New Orleans Saints

BREAKING: San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters on Wednesday that Brock Purdy is unlikely to play this week against the New Orleans Saints.
Coach Shanahan told reporters that 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy suffered a toe injury in Sunday's victory against the Seattle Seahawks. Shanahan also stated that Purdy is dealing with a left shoulder ailment. If Purdy can not go, former New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is in line to get the start for the 49ers.
Brock Purdy threw for 277 yards, two touchdowns, and threw two interceptions in week 1 win against the Seahawks. He averaged .41 EPA/play with a 15.3% completion percentage over expected.
