UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Pittsburgh opened -4 at Fanatics Sportsbook and dropped to -2 by Thursday, with stops along the way. The Steelers climbed back to -3 (-105) Saturday and are now -3 (-105). Ticket count is 3/1 and money almost 4/1 on Pittsburgh.

The total opened at 40.5, peaked at 42.5 multiple times Friday/Saturday, but is now down to 41. It's almost perfect two-way play on the total.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM pegged the Steelers -3.5 (-105) to open and spent the rest of the week at various iterations of -3. Pittsburgh is currently -3 (-105), while underdog Houston is taking 51% of tickets/56% of cash.

The total opened at 40.5 and peaked at 42.5 briefly Wednesday before settling at 42. Ticket count is 2/1 and money 5/1-plus on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Much like Indy, Houston pulled off a road upset that killed countless parlays/moneyline parlays and teasers. The Texans (1-2 SU and ATS) closed as 7.5-point underdogs and stunned Jacksonville 37-17.

Pittsburgh (2-1 SU and ATS) held off Las Vegas 23-18 getting 3 points on the road.

Steelers vs Texans Pick, Prediction

Action Network NFL betting expert Brandon Anderson offers this prediction:

This total is rising, and I don't see why. Houston's run defense has been terrible, but the Steelers can't run the ball to save their lives, and the Texans defense will keep getting better as the secondary gets healthy. Still, Stroud won't be able to pick apart Pittsburgh's defense the way he has lesser opponents.

Mike Tomlin has been the most profitable road unders coach over the past two decades at 74-54-1 (58%), and games with home underdogs have hit the under 61% of the last two seasons.

I think Stroud struggles against the Pittsburgh pass rush with all those line injuries, but I'm not loving the Steelers offense, either. I'll follow the trends and expect a tough, low-scoring game.

Pick: Under 42.5 (-110)
