2026-27 NFL Rookie of the Year Odds

Waiting for Draft Day

LATEST UPDATE: NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds for the 2026 season won't start taking shape until the NFL Draft, set for April 23-25. The only real known element: Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza will be among the top candidates.

In fact, in NFL MVP odds, Mendoza is on the board, though he's a +15000 long shot. Still, he's among the top 10 in early ticket count and just outside the top 10 in early money.

Mendoza led the Hoosiers to a perfect 16-0 season and their first national championship in 2025-26.

Just ahead of Super Bowl 60, Carolina Panthers wideout Tetairoa McMillan was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year for 2025-26. McMillan finished with 70 catches for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns, for a team that surprisingly made the playoffs.

After Week 14, he was -145 chalk in BetMGM's Offensive Rookie of the Year odds. Following Week 17, McMillan slipped a bit to -115, but post-Week 18, he closed as -350 chalk.

Cleveland Climber

Just like on offense, 2026-27 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year odds are on hold until the NFL Draft takes place. Check back in late April for opening numbers and early action.

Ahead of Super Bowl 60, Cleveland Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger was named 2025-26 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. It was a surprising run for Schwesinger, who opened at +6000, with a bundle of players head of him.

By Week 17, he was the rock-solid favorite at -800. Schwesinger finished the season with 67 solo tackles (2.5 sacks) and assisted on another 89 tackles. He recorded 11 tackles for loss and also had two interceptions.

Schwesinger closed as the -700 favorite in odds to win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
