Drake London (ATL) Over 50.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

There were multiple rookies that tempted me this week, I’ll go with the one PFF gave the highest grade for in Week 1, Drake London. Last week's Atlanta Falcons game surprised many, losing in a very sloppy nailbiter to the Saints. They were expected to struggle against a highly touted Saints defense, but were able actually score points in a tough matchup. This week, they get another tough matchup in the Rams, who are looking to bounce back from a highly embarrassing primetime blowout to the Bills.

London came out of the gate firing, leading the Falcons in receptions, targets, and receiving yards going 5-74 on 7 targets. While that's an impressive debut for the rookie, the part I like the most is the potential game script switch. I really do believe the Rams are going to come into this game with something to prove, leading the Falcons to be trailing for a majority of the match. They were able to run the ball 38 times last week, I think it's safe to assume they lose at least 10 of those rushing plays. If London was this involved in a neutral/positive game script, I expect him to be very involved when they’re trailing. I also wanted to point out that this is still 47.5 on PrizePicks, definitely good value.

Trey Lance (SFO) Over 38.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

This is a line I’ve thought about all week, and I’m going to pull the trigger here. Last week was really hard to get a read on, Lance played poorly, but that game was held in absolutely terrible weather/field conditions. While that limited Lance’s ability to throw the ball down the field, it also limited his ability to effectively avoid pressure in the pocket, and burst off for those chunk plays needed to cash this ticket. Lance ended up going 13-54 on the ground against Chicago, some may want to throw that out completely, but I think it fits in well with everything he’s done in his 4 extended appearances as QB so far.

Additionally, running back Elijah Mitchell is now out for the foreseeable future, opening up even more rushing opportunities this week. Jeff Wilson Jr hasn't really shown much in the opportunities he’s been given over the last couple seasons, Lance should benefit from the lack of a true RB. Lance was tied for first this week in designed runs at 8, while the weather could have played a part, I’d bet Lance finishes top 3 in designed runs every week he starts. Deciding between yards and attempts was tough, Lance will probably get every short yardage 3rd/4th down, and even a couple redzone carries.
