• Deebo Samuel 50+ Rec Yards/San Fran 2+ Sacks (+100)

San Francisco has one of the best defenses in football, and I expect them to show up in full force against the Rams. The 49ers have 2+ sacks in all three matchups thus far, and I think that they keep that going Monday. The Rams offensive line is dealing with multiple injuries including Brian Allen and David Edwards. In Week 1 we saw Stafford sacked seven times by a Bills defense who generated a lot of pressure, without blitzing.

The 49ers rely on a very similar system, trusting their rushers to get to the quarterback and devoting everything else to slowing down the pass. Stafford has faced the 49ers six times, and been sacked twice in 6/6 (7 times last year). 

Deebo Samuel is reunited with his quarterback and back to producing through the air. While he didnt clear 50 receiving yards in his first two games (monsoon vs CHI) he went for 73 yards on eight targets last week against Denver. The 49ers offense looked absolutely terrible last week, but our main takeaway is that they are going to continue to scheme ways for Deebo to get the ball in space.

Last season he went for 90+ receiving yards in both matchups vs LA, with an additional 90 yards on the ground. Brandon Aiyuk should get more attention from Jalen Ramsey, considering they have been using him in a more traditional role on the outside. I think Deebo is simply the preferred weapon in this offense, and should be very involved through the air and on the ground.
