Guess what everyone? The Broncos are back on prime time! After an embarrassingly slow game against the Colts, it’s time for redemption. Russell Wilson has faced endless criticism, with seemingly everyone who he’s ever wronged coming out of the woodwork, and now gets a chance to prove them wrong under the bright lights. The Chargers are coming in after a close win against the Browns, and while things haven’t been as strong as people expected, they are a very scary team. 

While I like Austin Ekeler this week, and have been patiently waiting for his receiving yards, I think we have some good value with the back up running back. Anyone that follows the Chargers has seen that Kelley is having the best season of his career, and that showed last week. Kelly went 10-49-1 on the ground, adding an additional 2-33 through the air. While Ekeler is great, this team has clearly wanted a backup to be involved, and Kelley has asserted himself as that guy. While Sony Michael was involved, Kelly out snapped him 27-2 last week, clearly pulling away. When asked if Kelley deserved more playtime, OC Joe Lombardi said, “I think so. He feels like he is the hot hand. We’ll keep along that path, I think.”
