Ravens vs. Buccaneers Player Prop Pick

  • Cade Otton (TB) Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+430)

After Monday's Khalil Herbert +500 touchdown bet, we’re looking to bring some of that magic in Thursday Night Football. This week's matchup gives us two very interesting teams, in very different spots. The Buccaneers are coming into this game as one of the biggest question marks in football. Tom Brady’s ability hasn't been questioned this much in years, and back to back losses to the Panthers and the Steelers.

The Ravens are another team that had high expectations coming into this season, but have really only been middle of the road. Lamar Jackson isn't playing his best football, and while it seems like he wants to be a pocket passer, that hasn't necessarily been going great. They have beat the teams they were supposed to, but also choked away winnable games to the Bills, Dolphins, and Giants. Both of these teams are in need of a stabilizing game, and I think that should result in some good competitive football. If there is one thing I like to do, it's to bet on tight ends in primetime.

While I almost pulled the trigger on Otton last week, I ended up missing out on a 4-64 performance against the Panthers. Cameron Brate did not practice on tuesday, and with how these concussion/neck injuries have played out so far, I’m expecting him to miss again. Otton ended up finishing 3rd in targets without him last week, behind just Godwin and Evans. While he hasn't gotten in the endzone without Brate yet, he does have 10 catches, 12 targets, and 107 receiving yards in those two games. We know that Brady loves his tight ends, especially when he’s under pressure. The only negative is I just did learn that Kye Rudolph is still in fact playing in the NFL, and this secretly seems like a great opportunity for him to randomly get a touchdown at 15/1.
