Washington Capitals vs. Boston Bruins Game 4 Predictions

Score Prediction Bruins 4 Capitals 3

It's hard to take Washington in Game 4, despite all three games in this series going into overtime. Oddsmakers have dwindled the overtime line to +200, so the value there is currently gone for this series. The home team has won four of the last five games played between both teams, although the underdog has covered four straight between the two.

The trends would imply a one-goal loss for Washington, so feel free to back the home trend in Boston along with the Capitals dealing with goalie issues. The goal total has also gone UNDER in three of the last four games played between both teams but presents the cheapest value in terms of favorite in popular markets.

Brad Marchand has been a moneymaker in the goal-scoring market, so feel free to continue backing him but there are some others to consider as well. Boston should win this game while the goal total should go UNDER, but there isn't great value for Game 4 so player props are where I'll be heading.
