Boston Bruins vs. New York Islanders Game 4 Predictions

Although I think New York wins Game 4, there is a lot of trends to back Boston tonight. The Bruins have won six of their last seven games and four of their last five games against the Islanders. Boston has also won the first period in seven of its last eight games when facing New York.

Between the two Boston bets, winning the first period is the much better option. The 3-way ML is plus-value, and the Islanders can easily win Game 4 despite the Bruins' winning trends. Three of the last four games between both teams has gone into overtime, so it's not like Boston is destroying New York - rather winning close games.

After dropping Game 3 at home, in overtime, expect New York to close out Game 4 much better. Brad Marchand was the winning goal scorer in Game 3 overtime, and has scored a goal in three of his last four games against the Islanders.
