ST. LOUIS BLUES vs. WASHINGTON CAPITALS PREDICTIONS

The Blues have dropped three consecutive games, including two in a row against Eastern Conference teams. St. Louis is coming off a 5-4 loss in Columbus on Saturday, while falling 3-2 in a shootout against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the previous outing Thursday. The Blues are also 1-4-2 across the past seven outings against Eastern Conference teams dating back to Feb. 25.

The Capitals are looking to a little revenge after falling 5-1 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis against the Blues back on Jan. 7. Ilya Samsonov allowed four goals on just 16 shots in that setback, as Pavel Buchnevich dinged the Caps for two goals and an assist, while Ryan O'Reilly and Robert Thomas picked up two assists apiece.

Washington is coming off a 3-2 loss at home against the Dallas Stars on Sunday, a setback which snapped a four-game win streak. It was the first loss in regulation in nine games dating back to Feb. 28.
