The Details of the Deal

According to Kalshi's announcement, the agreements bring the trading platform into MLB ballparks through in-stadium branding, signage both inside and outside the venues, and team-specific digital promotion. The Dodgers' portion of the deal is the most visible so far. Kalshi has landed LED signage around Dodger Stadium and naming rights to the ballpark's Gold Glove Bar, along with dedicated fan offers and activations in Centerfield Plaza throughout the season.

Kalshi's Head of Sports Partnerships, Adam Barrick, framed the rollout as a natural extension of existing fan engagement, noting that supporters already using the platform made partnering with some of baseball's most storied franchises a logical next step.

The Red Sox had already tipped their hand before the official confirmation. Over the weekend, Boston began featuring Kalshi branding across its social channels and in emails to its subscriber base, while the Dodgers had quietly worked Kalshi signage into their outfield rotation and placed decals behind home plate during recent homestands. Tuesday's announcement simply made official what eagle-eyed fans and sports business reporters had already started to notice.

Kalshi has not disclosed the specific terms of its arrangements with the Braves, Giants and Padres, though the broad structure — branding, signage and fan activations — appears consistent across all five teams. These deals come as the platform has seen tremendous growth year over year in trading volume, 36x trading volume to be exact. Kalshi is investing to meet this demand.

What It Means for Traders and Fans

For everyday fans, the practical impact shows up in ballpark experience: more Kalshi branding on the videoboards, more fan promotions tied to the app, and deeper integration between team content and the platform's prediction markets. For the broader trading world, it's another sign that prediction markets are no longer a fringe product. Prediction markets becoming a fixture of major American sports, even as courts and state regulators continue to sort out whether that's legal in the first place.
