Barcelona vs Inter Milan Preview

Barcelona go into this game top of La Liga and as favourites to win the entire Champions League tournament. But Inter can't be taken lightly - they showed their pedigree with an impressive win over Bayern Munich in the last round and are second in Serie A, behind Napoli.

Barcelona made the semi-finals after overcoming Dortmund, despite suffering defeat in the second leg in Germany. Inter edged a tough two-legged encounter against Bayern Munich, winning 4-3. The two sides have played 17 times, with Barca winning eight, Inter winning four, and five draws.

Barcelona's only major absentee is Robert Lewandowski, with the star striker also at risk of missing the return leg in Milan. Inter will be without Benjamin Pavard through injury, plus Joaquin Correa is not registered to play.

Prediction

The bookies have Barcelona as firm favourites, and this is for good reason. They've been in superb form in La Liga all season, while Inter's aging squad might be starting to struggle as the competition reaches its climax. This should be a win for Barca - Inter will just hope to be in with a chance when they host the Catalans in Milan next week.
