Bournemouth (+253) pulled off the largest upset on Saturday as it defeated Watford 4-0 on the road. Everton (+239) also cashed a nice ticket with a 2-1 win at Leicester City.

Manchester United (-257) faced a 2-0 deficit to Newcastle United in the 70th minute and rallied with three unanswered goals to secure a 3-2 win at Old Trafford.

Arsenal (-153) and Chelsea (-175) got off to the right start on Sunday as the pair cashed as road favorites over Fulham and Southampton respectively.

Matchday 8 concluded with the ‘Game of the Week’ from Anfield as Liverpool and Manchester City played to a scoreless draw (+260).

-- Five teams have notched at least six wins in their first eight matches. Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool all sit at the top of the table with 20 points (6-2-0).

-- Arsenal (6-2), winners in six straight games, is just behind the three leaders with 18 points. Tottenham (6-2) is tied with the Gunners and has won three in a row.

-- Wolverhampton has watched the ‘under’ start 7-1 and that record has been attributed to a great defense (6 goals) and mediocre offense (9 goals). Man City (6-2) is another club that has been a solid ‘under’ wager this season.

-- ‘Over’ teams with 6-2 marks to the high side include Manchester United, Bournemouth and Tottenham. Leicester City (6-1-1) has also leaned to ‘over’ tickets.

Werder Bremen (-105) scored one goal in each half as it defeated Wolfsburg 2-0 as a home favorite on Friday.

The shocker of the Matchday 7 and arguably the season occurred Saturday as Borussia Monchengladbach (+1435) shut out Bayern Munich 3-0 at Allianz Arena.

For the second straight week, Borussia Dortmund (-178) scored four second-half goals and defeated FC Augsburg 4-3 as a home favorite. The seven combined goals were the highest scoring match of the weekend.

RB Leipzig (-263) captured a 6-0 home win over Numberg, the widest outcome of the weekend.

Eintracht Frankfurt (+347) surprised TSG Hoffenheim 2-1 as a road underdog on Sunday.

-- Bayern Munich is mired in a terrible slump (0-1-2) for its standards and the offense has been shutout twice during this skid. The six-time defending champions sit in sixth place with 13 points (4-1-2).

-- Borussia Dortmund holds the top spot (5-2-0) with the top-ranked offense (23 points). During its current four-game winning streak, the club has posted 18 goals.

-- Schalke 04 has strung together back-to-back wins after beginning the season with five straight defeats.

Nice and Toulouse started off Matchday 9 in Ligue 1 with a 1-1 draw (+127) on Friday.

Lille (+100) and Amiens AC (+123) cashed as home favorites on Saturday over St Etienne and Dijon FCO respectively.

There were three draws posted on the second day and all had a different outcome (0-0, 1-1, 2-2).

Stade Rennes (+266) was the lone underdog to cash this weekend as it earned a 2-1 win at AS Monaco.

Despite being a man down, Paris Saint-Germain (-370) posted a 5-0 win over Lyon at home with four goals coming in the second-half from Kylian Mbappe.

-- PSG (9-0) remains perfect and is already eight points clear (27-19) through nine games. The Parisian Power has won every game by two goals and five of them by three or more.

Real Sociedad (+295) surprised Athletic Bilbao 3-1 as a road underdog on Friday with two of its goals coming in the second-half.

Underdogs were barking early in Matchday 8 on Saturday as Eibar (+265) and Levante (+398) cashed as road favorites over Girona and Getafe.

The largest upset occurred later in the day as Deportivo Alaves (+759) posted a 1-0 win over Real Madrid as a home underdog.

Favorites rebounded on Sunday with a 4-0 record and three of the games were decided by one goal. Espanyol (+129) was the outlier as it notched a 3-1 win over Villareal.

The lone draw (+323) this week was a 1-1 decision between Barcelona and Valencia.

-- Don’t look now but Sevilla (5-1-2) sits in first place of the table with 16 points.

-- Barcelona (0-2-1) and Real Madrid (0-1-2) have both struggled in their last three league games and the pair have struggled offensively. Barca has only been able to put up three goals during this drought while Madrid has been shutout in three straight contests.
