RB Leipzig vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Venue: Red Bull Arena Location: Leipzig, Germany

RB Leipzig fully deserved their 1-0 win at Tottenham in the first leg and they should have few problems getting the job done at home and reaching their first ever Champions League quarter-final. Since the first leg, Tottenham’s form has got even worse. Shorn of their two match-winners in Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min, Spurs look bereft of ideas. Jose Mourinho is trying different systems to no avail.

Tottenham went off as outsiders at home to Wolves ten days ago - a sign that bookmakers have them down as a mid-table side at the moment. Leipzig lie third in a rejuvenated Bundesliga and can win this game to nil.

Best Bet: RB Leipzig to win to nil at 7/4

Valencia vs. Atalanta

Venue: Estadio de Mestalla
Location: Valencia, Spain

This is one of many games in Europe to be played behind closed doors. Atalanta hail from Lombardy, the region in Italy worst affected by coronavirus. It could yet curtail Atalanta’s fantastic run, but the lack of home fans in the Estadio Mestalla should play to the away team’s advantage. And given the way Atalanta swept Valencia aside in the first leg, the fact that they are only narrow favourites makes them a good bet here.

Valencia’s La Liga form has been very patchy, and Atalanta are the highest scoring side in Europe’s top five leagues. That means that draws in Atalanta games are less likely, so the 13/10 about the visitors has even more appeal.

Best Bet: Atalanta to win at 13/10

Liverpool vs. Atletico Madrid

Venue: Anfield
Location: Liverpool, England

Just after Atletico won the first leg 1-0 at home, these two teams were given an even chance of qualifying. Since then, Liverpool have hit a sticky patch of form and Atletico have moved into 7/10. At 21/20, Liverpool’s price is now big enough to back. The name of the game for Liverpool is not to concede an away goal. Scoring three against a Diego Simeone side is extremely difficult. But Atleti were under the cosh for most of the first leg and have scored a measly 31 goals in 27 La Liga matches.

They will set up to defend - but if Liverpool score early they may struggle to change their defensive mindset. Liverpool’s record in knockout games at Anfield is extraordinary, and they can upset the odds once again.

Best Bet: Liverpool to qualify at 21/20

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Borussia Dortmund

Venue: Parc des Princes
Location: Paris, France

This game will be played behind closed doors too, a big advantage for Dortmund given the noise generated by the crowd at the Parc des Princes. Dortmund edged the first leg 2-1, and the sense that PSG fail to rise to big Champions League games persisted.

Since then, Dortmund have won four on the bounce in the league including a vital win at Borussia Mönchengladbach at the weekend. PSG bottled a 2-0 lead against Manchester United at this stage last season, and Dortmund have far more quality than them. Opposing PSG looks the best option here.

Best Bet: Draw or Borussia Dortmund at 1/1
