Zeuch has appeared in 13 MLB games and made seven starts with the Toronto Blue Jays during his pro career. Zeuch has a 4.59 ERA in 49 innings. During his Triple-A stint in Louisville, Zeuch had a 3.63 ERA in five starts. Zeuch tossed a career-high 12 strikeouts in seven innings in his last start. 

Walker has allowed 96 hits, nine home runs, and 28 walks, along with throwing 80 strikeouts in 104.1 innings. The Mets are 3-2 in Walker’s last five appearances. In Walker’s last game vs. the Braves on Aug. 5, he was tagged for eight earned runs and two home runs in one inning. 

Prior to the contests on Aug. 9, the Reds ranked 18th in RBI (442), 20th in batting average (.239 and home runs (103), 22nd in on-base percentage (.308) and 23rd in slugging percentage (.378). Third baseman Brandon Drury leads the Reds in batting average (.274), home runs (20), RBI (59), and hits (96). First baseman Joey Votto is tops for the Reds in on-base percentage (.335). Shortstop Kyle Farmer is second on the Reds with 51 RBI. 

Before the games on Aug.9, the Mets ranked third in on-base percentage (.330), fourth in batting average (.259) and RBI (503), 10th in slugging percentage (.409), and 16th in home runs (112). First baseman Pete Alonso leads the Mets in home runs (29), RBI (95), and hits (114). Second baseman Jeff McNeil is tops on the Mets with a .304 batting average. Left fielder Mark Canha has a team-best .362 on-base percentage. 

Through Aug. 8, the Reds are 52-56 against the spread overall and 27-25 against the spread on the road. For over/under, the Reds are 54-52-2 overall and 25-26-1 on the road. 

Prior to Aug. 9, the Mets were 61-49 against the spread overall and 28-26 against the spread at home. In terms of over/under, the Mets are 57-47-6 overall and 30-21-3 at home. 

The Mets will spoil Zeuch’s debut and close out the series with a victory.
