Atlanta United is coming off a 2-1 home victory vs. Real Salt Lake on July 13. Ronaldo Cisneros scored both goals for Atlanta United in the first half. Cisneros’ first goal was a low kick inside the far post. Cisneros’ second goal was assisted by Matheus Rossetto. Cisneros beat Real Salt Lake goalie Zac MacMath with a left-footed kick. Cisneros is now up to six goals on the season. 

This was the first meeting between Atlanta United and Real Salt Lake since May 2019. 

Orlando City tied 1-1 with the Colorado Rapids on July 13 in its last contest. Facundo Torres scored the lone goal for Orlando City in the 22nd minute. Torres booted the goal through the underside of the crossbar. Torres currently has four goals this season. 

Orlando City goalie Pedro Gallese finished with six saves. Gallese denied Gyasi Zardes’ header from the right post four minutes before halftime. Zardes drew Colorado even with a close-range goal in the 65th minute. 

Atlanta United is 1-3-1 in its last five matches. Orlando City is 2-2-1 in its last five contests. 

Atlanta United has scored 28 goals while allowing 30 for a difference of -2. Atlanta United has amassed 16 assists. Atlanta United leads the MLS with 211 total attacking assists. Atlanta United is also tops in MLS in long ball percentage (55.9) and pass percentage (85.2). Atlanta United is 17th in discipline with 46 points. 

Cisneros leads Atlanta United in goals, followed by Josef Martinez (5) and Luis Araujo and Dom Dyer with four apiece. Thiago Alamada is first on Atlanta United with four assists. The 25-year-old Cisneros is in his first MLS season and most recently played for Tapatio prior to joining Atlanta United.
