Atlanta United is coming off a 2-1 home victory vs. Real Salt Lake on July 13. Ronaldo Cisneros scored both goals for Atlanta United in the first half. Cisneros’ first goal was a low kick inside the far post. Cisneros’ second goal was assisted by Matheus Rossetto. Cisneros beat Real Salt Lake goalie Zac MacMath with a left-footed kick. Cisneros is now up to six goals on the season. 

This was the first meeting between Atlanta United and Real Salt Lake since May 2019. 

Orlando City tied 1-1 with the Colorado Rapids on July 13 in its last contest. Facundo Torres scored the lone goal for Orlando City in the 22nd minute. Torres booted the goal through the underside of the crossbar. Torres currently has four goals this season. 

Orlando City goalie Pedro Gallese finished with six saves. Gallese denied Gyasi Zardes’ header from the right post four minutes before halftime. Zardes drew Colorado even with a close-range goal in the 65th minute. 

Atlanta United is 1-3-1 in its last five matches. Orlando City is 2-2-1 in its last five contests. 

Atlanta United has scored 28 goals while allowing 30 for a difference of -2. Atlanta United has amassed 16 assists. Atlanta United leads the MLS with 211 total attacking assists. The 25-year-old Cisneros is in his first MLS season and most recently played for Tapatio prior to joining Atlanta United. 

Orlando City has notched 25 goals while giving up 29 for a difference of -4. Orlando City has tallied 19 assists. Orlando City is first in duel percentage (54.6), tied for first in headed goals (7) and tied for fifth in accurate forward zone pass (3,789). Orlando City is ninth in discipline with 52 points. 

Ercan Kara is tops for Orlando City with seven goals. Torres is second and Alexandre Pato is third with three goals. Mauricio Pereyra is first on Orlando City with six assists. Torres and Pato are tied for the second most with four apiece. Robin Jansson leads Orlando City in discipline with 12 points. 

The 22-year-old Torres is also a member of the Uruguay national team. Torres was paid $9 million to join Orlando City.
