Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams caught eight receptions for a game-high 113 yards as well as a touchdown. The Chargers lost despite outgaining the Chiefs in total yards (401 to 309). The Chargers also converted 3-of-5 in the red zone, compared to 1-of-3 for the Chiefs.

The Jaguars’ offense ranks 12th in points per game (23.0) and passing yards (247.5), as well as 17th in rushing yards (109.5). Lawrence has a passer rating of 96.4 and has been sacked twice. Defensively, the Jaguars rank fifth in points per game allowed (14.0). Linebacker Devin Lloyd leads the Jaguars with 17 tackles and also has an interception. Linebacker Josh Allen is tops for the Jaguars with two sacks and two forced fumbles. Linebacker Foyesade Oluokun is second on the Jaguars with 14 tackles and has a fumble recovery. Safety Andre Cisco has tallied 11 tackles and an interception.

The Chargers’ offense ranks fourth in passing yards (302.5), 11th in points per game (24.0), and tied for 28th in rushing yards (75.5). Herbert has a passer rating of 112.5 and has been sacked two times.

The Chargers are favored by seven points against the Jaguars. For the money line, it’s Jaguars -+230 and Chargers -300. The over/under is set for 47 points. Figure on the over in a shootout between two young quarterbacks.

The Jaguars will hang tough to cover the spread but the Chargers will prevail with the victory.
