UFC 279 will take place on Saturday. The action from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is set to begin at 6 p.m. ET with the early prelims (ESPN+), followed by the prelims at 8 p.m. (ESPN News), and the Main Card at 10 p.m. (ESPN+ and PPV). 

There’ll be a total of 13 fights during the event in the welterweight, catchweight, bantamweight, light heavyweight, featherweight, heavyweight, middleweight, women’s featherweight, women’s strawweight, and women’s bantamweight.

The Main Card consists of Nate Diaz vs. Tony Ferguson (welterweight), Li Jingliang vs. Daniel Rodriguez (catchweight), Khamzat Chimaev vs. Kevin Holland (catchweight), Irene Aldana vs. Macy Chiasson (women’s catchweight) and Johnny Walker vs. Ion Cutelaba (light heavyweight). 

Ferguson has -125 odds, while Diaz is at +105. Rodriguez has -155 odds, in contrast to +130 for Jingliang. Chimaev is set at -550 and Holland is +400. Aldana checks in at -180, with Chiasson at +155. Cutelaba is pegged at -220 and Walker is +180.

Aldana has been knocked out twice and lost four times by decision. Chiasson has two wins apiece by knockout and submission, plus four by decision. Chiasson has lost once each by submission and decision. 

The 30-year-old Walker has an 18-7-0 record. The 28-year-old Cutelaba is 16-7-1 with one no contest. Walker has done the majority of his damage through 15 knockouts, along with two wins by submission, and one by decision. In terms of the early prelims, it’ll be Norma Dumont vs. Danyelle Wolf (women’s featherweight), Chad Anhelinger vs. Alateng (bantamweight), Melissa Martinez vs. Elise Reed (flyweight), and Darian Weeks vs. Yohan Lainesse (welterweight). 

Dumont has -410 odds, while Wolf is +320. Anhelinger is tabbed at +140 and Alateng is -165. Martinez is slated at -170 in comparison to Reed at +145. Weeks is projected at -125 odds and Lainesse is +105.
