As of July 9, the Phillies are third place in the NL East standings. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are behind only the Milwaukee Brewers in the NL Central standings. The Phillies shut out the Cardinals in the first two games of this series. They won 2-0 on Friday and then 1-0 on Saturday.
