The Cowboys have not won a championship since 1995, but that has not stopped the ‘We dem boys” chants shouted yearly by their fans. The aspirations are lofty for both franchises this season, and this could be a foreshadowing of what is to come in the NFC Playoffs. The Cowboys just signed Amari Cooper to a contract worth over $100 million spanning five years. That was in 2020. Now they decided to trade him away for a late round draft pick.

The Cowboys enter this matchup hurting a bit at the wide receiver position with the absence of Michael Gallup, who is still recovering from the ACL injury sustained late last season. CeeDee Lamb will anchor the wide receivers alongside Jalen Tolbert, Simi Fehoko, Noah Brown and Dennis Houston. Dak Prescott will have his work cut out for him in the Dallas passing game.
