The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the neighboring Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday night in the finale of a two-game set in the Freeway Series. First pitch for the inter-league contest is slated for 10:10 p.m. ET. Coverage will be on each team’s regional sports channel as well as MLB.TV.

Detmers has allowed 34 hits, 16 walks, and seven home runs, while tallying 32 strikeouts. Anderson has given up 51 hits and just nine walks, in addition to amassing 55 strikeouts. 

Prior to the series, the Dodgers were second in the league in runs and on-base percentage, while being fifth in slugging percentage. Right fielder Mookie Betts was batting .278 with 16 home runs, and 39 RBI. First baseman Freddie Freeman had a batting average of .288 with five home runs and 34 RBI. The top-notch Dodgers bullpen ranked eighth in WHIP, ninth in ERA and WHIP, and 10th in strikeouts. 

Leading up to the set, the Angels were 12th in runs and 15th in on-base percentage. Center fielder Mike Trout was batting .293 with 16 home runs and 34 RBI. Versatile starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani leads the team in hits (59) and RBI (37), while being second in runs (41). The middling Angels bullpen ranked 15th in WHIP, 16th in hits, and 23rd in ERA. 

The host Dodgers are favored by 1.5 runs over the Angels in the final game of the set. Heading into the series, the Dodgers had a 37-23 SU record and were 33-27 against the spread. The Dodgers are 2-6 SU in their last eight home contests since May 30. 

The Angels were 29-33 SU going into the set and 30-32 against the spread. The Angels were 12-15 SU on the road this season. 

The over/under is set for 8.5 runs for the series finale.
