Kansas State vs Texas

Both Texas and Kansas State came close to making the Final Four last season, but each team has put together a disappointing record in Big 12 play.

The Longhorns and Wildcats are each 5-7 in the league, while coming off losses in their last games on Saturday.

This will be the first meeting this season between these teams as Texas' last three losses have come to the top two teams in the Big 12 (Houston twice and Iowa State).

Kansas State is coming off a last-second loss to TCU as the Wildcats are 1-6 in the past seven games as they beat Kansas for the lone win in this span.

Texas is 1-5 ATS in its six league games as a favorite, but the last three wins overall for the Longhorns have come by double-digits.

Pick: Texas -9 (-110)

Virginia vs Virginia Tech

Virginia Cavaliers +3.5 (-110)

Virginia (20-6 straight up, 14-11-1 against the spread) has won nine of its last 10 games while going 6-3-1 ATS, including a 65-57 win over Virginia Tech as a five-point home favorite.

The Cavaliers are 7-3 both SU and ATS in their last 10 head-to-head meetings against the Hokies, who are mired in a 1-4 slump both SU and ATS in their last five outings.

UVA has won four road games in a row both SU and ATS, including a 66-65 win at Clemson as a 4.5-point underdog. Give me the Cavs.
